i am looking for more scriptures that can prove to a jehovah witness that god is jesus, and jesus is god.i found only one verse so far in 1jo:5:20: and we know that the son of god is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his son jesus christ.

this is the true god, and eternal life.. if you know more scriptures that say directly that god is jesus please tell me the verses the jhw will see plainly that jesus is no way an angel, and he is jehovah god almighty.. my friend said if i can prove by the bible only that jesus is god he will leave the jhw society, and he will know that they are teaching lies and they would be to him a dogma religious sect.

my friend gave me a booklet called should you believe in the trinity?, and is jesus christ the almighty god.

By the way I made the small god in 1 tim 3:16 because many were talking about gods and I was trying to state that no way a god can be manifested to die for us praise God.

What god died for ùs and shed his blood so we can be righteous?
the bible says :1Tm:3:16: And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

What god did this?
notice the MANIFESTATION in the verse.
I hope this is a fact that God is Jesus.

Jesus created all thing for Himself Col 1:16.
all men is drawn unto Jesus

I know that it true that Jesus is equal to God the father:

My friend gave me a booklet called “ should you believe in the trinity?, and is Jesus Christ the almighty God”. If somebody know about this booklet and know if there is a counter booklet or information against this booklet that they passout please let me know.
I think this should dealt with as soon as possible so they can be convicted of passing out lies against our savior. Also I don`t understand completely why the JHW don`t worship the Lord Jesus , and they confess they go through Jesus to get to Jehovah and they use another word to respect Jesus which I don`t understand and don`t see it in the king James Version or any other bibles . The JHW say they are not allowed to worship Jesus, and the last question is how can they say Jesus or Jehovah doesn`t heal today, because God NAME is I AM not I WAS?
If someone can help with these question I `ll be waiting for your answers.

Heaven and Earth will pass away?

like many, for years i understood the generation mentioned in matthew 24:34 to be an actual chronological generation that actually saw the events of 1914. this would mean that to be in a position to see and understand the events of 1914, someone would have to be at least 10 years old, and to be someone who actually fought in the great war, say 17 or 18 years old.

this generation has passed away, as clearly brought home with the recent death of the british queen mother who was born at the beginning of the 20th century.. whilst i understand the so called change of thought of a few years back that now makes this generation a contemporary rather than a chronological one, i cannot see how the guarantee that heaven and earth will pass away but my words will not pass away sits with a much vaguer contemporary one.

if it is not possible to clearly define this generation, then this guarantee makes no sense.. has anyone heard of any new spins on the guarantee aspect, say from cos, dos, bethelites, etc, as the official lines have been particularly vague on this point?

I will like to say I think this world will pass away because the Glory of God will come and burn up the filth of this world and this world can not stand the Holy fire of God and the foundation of this earth will melt away.

Heb:1:11: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

i have a relative for instance says the gay sex life is ok and they interpretated the bible to back up the right to live a gay life.. how can i prove their interpretation is wrong?.

Evangelist on TV doesn't neccessarily mean money is involved. TV is a communication medium every market uses so why not the church or relgion too....That would be discrimination and censorship to say religion shouldn't be allowed on TV. Not all TV evangelsts are con artists or looking for money. Their are tons of evangelsits that don't but you don't hear about them .

This is very true and I am one evangelist that don`t recieve any money for my broadcast because it is payed throught the city I live in.
The TV broadcast is like a channel 2 program that reaches only 84000 homes and it onjly for my town. It just a way to reach the lost in my town and I have great numbers of people becoming born again christian.

I was hoping someone will say something about water baptism doctrine that saves according to M'r:16:16: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

I am sorry to here so many people on this board think that the bible is not the real Word of God , and it is full of mistakes, and err.
I think my God is more powerful than any man and he can make sure no one can destroy His Words.2Tm:3:16: (All scripture) is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Notice the bible says all scriptures, not some scriptures.

How can you teach some one to get the right interpretations?
For another good example is How do I explain about Mark 16:16 and tell someone that baptism is not what saves, and this is not salvation,but they translate the scripture falsely and think they must get baptize to gain salvation, but they don`t understand baptism is a outward symbol.
Why do they interpretate the bible so incorrectly?
I hope somebody can help in this matter.
