LAST NIGHT..!
by iknowall558 ini finally went out on a 'ministry' work.
with a bit of help, i took all of my anti witness leaflets and put them through the doors of as many witnesses as i could in a 2hour time period.
it was the easiest and most exhilirating thing i've ever done.

Witnesses "Policing" People...Is It True?
by CrimsonBleu inmy sister told me once she likes to "police" people, that it was sort of a game she liked to play.
she is true to her word, she does just that.
always seeking the negative, rarely acknowledging positive...anything.. is this common among witnesses?

I think it's a pretty common practice among JW's. I've lived in 4 different states and attended at least 9 different congregations and it's happened at all of them. Spying, encouraging members to tattle on others. It's all part of the control they want to have over others to keep them under their thumb. I can think of 4 instances off the top of my head where elders sat outside of publishers houses to try to get the dirt so to speak. It's even been done to me, they came up with nothing cause it was all a crazy woman's story they were believing.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that a lot of Kingdom Melodies sound exactly like Christmas songs?
Herold Forth the Good News of the Kingdom -- It came upon a midnight clear
I can't think of any others now that Christmas is over but everytime I go into a store during the holiday season I can name them right off.

I love the letter. My husband and I left our DA letters almost 2 years ago. We both felt it was something WE had to do. It was our way of letting them know they did not control our lives any longer. It was a liberating experience just writing it and then putting it in the hands of the very people that committed the abuses against us was an amazing experience. My husband did make sure to put in his letter that they were not to contact any of us, including our children, in any way or we would consider it harassment and if they came onto our property we would consider it trespassing and treat them as such under our legal rights. Tennessee allows the use of force to remove trespassers. LOL We are fairly sure that our house is marked on the back of the territory to not call here, since we had seen several marked that way in our time served. We received no phone calls from them and the only sign of them at our door was an invitation to the memorial last year. We asked all our neighbors about the tracts, they all got one on their door but no one actually talked to any of them. We know for a fact that some were home so we think the dubs did not even look at the territory card or knock on any doors. Probably a pioneer working alone pretending to do real service.
Good luck to you, keep us updated.
