Welcome to the board. You're not alone. There are many like you in the Kingdom Halls. The problem is everyone has been taught to fear and report anyone who voices any grievances to the authorities (elders). Doesn't it stink that real issues within the Organization cannot be discussed in the spiritual paradise? Something is not right with that picture....

When do you think there will be a revised "Reasoning Book"
by Amelia Ashton inbecause i was abroad we had to use the original revelation book and only the reader had the new improved version so i don't know if this was the same else where but following along using the old version made the adjustments seem even more ludicrous.. why didn't they ensure everyone had the new version before studying it rather than highlight all the "adjustments" that had to be made in a km and therefore making them more obvious?.
do you think there could be a list of amendments to be inserted into the reasoning book in the same way?.

Do some GB know the truth about the truth?
by Bob_NC indo some of the gb consciously know the truth about the truth and they just can't say it?
or are they all still under the spell?.
how about cos or dos?

As a whole the GB are captives of a concept. The problem is groupthink is woven into the fabric of the organization. And I suspect, at this point the Organization has a life of its own that is bigger than any one person or group within it.
What would happen if by some miracle the GB all simultaneously realized that it’s all BS? Would they be able to get the writing department to publish a special Watchtower magazine in which they come clean to their readers? Or would the brothers in the Writing department call the Service department and convene a special judicial committee to “clean” the organization of the “apostate GB” and appoint a whole new group of GB who are loyal to the core values and doctrines of the Organization?
Think about your local Kingdom Hall. Do the elders know it’s BS? Maybe one has serious doubts. Let’s say he allows himself the luxury of exploring his doubts. He learns TTATT. He’ll either keep his mouth shut because he can’t get out because of family, or he’ll start talking about his doubts and either get DF’d or beat down by the other members of the body until he fades. Meanwhile, the other elders on the body are reminded to squash their doubts or they might end up like elder Apostate who lost his family and his position. The same dynamic is at play in Bethel.
The Organization is set up to protect itself against dissenters and independent thinker and those who know it’s BS.
Of course, some people know it’s all BS and are in it solely for personal gain. (Just like in your local Kingdom Hall.) But those people are isolated, either aware of the dangers of speaking up, or they realize they have a good thing going (position, prestige, family, tradition) so why rock the boat.

I've read some of the posts about JW's trying to go to JW.org and ending up on sites that expose them to TTATT. Just for kicks I googled jw.org and the second result was anointedjw.org.
Hopefully this official push for JW's to start using the Internet will spark more conversation about the org and leadership's desire for absolute control of information.

MSN report on false end of the world predictions includes JW's
by joyfulfader ini thought this quote on msn regarding all the interest in end of the world stuff because of today's date 12/12/12 and the 21st as the end of the mayan calendar.. "figuring out when it all comes crashing down isn't easy, though.
the jehovah's witnesses, for example, have predicted the end of the world at least four times, only to be forced to backtrack.
".

Awesome! Good to know they are getting the same treatment as other false religions.
