It doesn't bother me.

I just think that if there is a God in the form of an entity, then we need to identify it and see what it wants from us.

If there isn't, then perpetuating belief in it is the grossest form of intellectual dishonesty.

BTW, this thread was in response to Honesty's thread asking for just a shred of evidence that proved the celestial appointment of the WT organization back around the end of WWI.

I just think it's funny how the same logic used by believers to discredit the Watchtower cult isn't applied to their own beliefs.

But Warlock always has been quick with the temper and slow with the reading comprehension.

for one person, it could be never having finished college, and for another, accumulating too many student loans.

it could be never having pursued that dream to dance on broadway or not having told a loved one how much they meant to you.

while this may be construed as a rebuttal to nvr's thread re: why i post about atheism, that is not my intent.. it is my intent, however, to show how i developed a belief in and love for the god of the bible.. my paternal grandfather, who died before i was born, was a baptist preacher, so you could say i cut my teeth on the bible.

i loved having it read to me, and once i learned how, reading it for myself.

i'm convinced that spirituality runs deep in my blood.. i've always had such a strong sense of right and wrong that injustices make me literally sick.

I found out that 'pleasing Jehovah" was a fool's errand. That's why I asked Jesus to save me.
