  Have you ever thought they may want to be there not only because they want to serve their country, but because the military affords opportunities out the wazoo for people who are seeking them.

  Sure, I've thought of that. I know there are many that want to be there. It's sad that to have an opportunity they are reduced to putting their life on the line "for their country", a country that will help them only if they do. Otherwise they can stay in the ghetto and die before the age of 25 or spend a lot of their free time in prison.

  I have good friends that have served in the war. You are lucky I do not know you.

  Hmm, threatening me for speaking my mind. It sure proves where the democratic ideas are at.

  That is a disgusting slur -withdraw the remark

  How is it a slur? It's common knowledge most of the United States army is disproportionately composed of the poorest, most desperate of those within the country, mostly from the Southeastern regions. Notice the "" around the word scum, meaning it is a phrase not meant to be taken literally.

  Very few of those that "succeed" in the US system fight overseas to defend it.

  my mother has brought up this issue a few times lately and i'm a bit confused.

  actually she says she's confused about it and doesn't know what to believe; that what she reads in the bible contradicts what the elders say.. she said that if you die before armegeddon you become an angel, so i assume that they will never marry or have children?

  if you and your current spouse both survive armegeddon you continue to be married and have children?.

  Paradise Earth: A bunch of multi-cultural folks harvesting fruit whilst building massive suburban villas in breathtaking scenary.

  (Who gets the nice real estate? Who is making the tools that everyone is using? I sure wouldn't opt to work in a factory all day with the prospect of some mountain country real estate.)

  I'm inclined to believe those of you that rant against the American system are those that have failed to take advantage of it. You've failed in some way and are disappointed to the degree that you want to blame anything and anybody but yourselves for your failures or your lack of achievement. Oh no! It couldn't be because you were lazy or unmotivated or too heavy into partying. It HAS to be the rotten ole American system beating down the poor and disadvantage.

  You could say that the people that propogate this sort of system are the ones that have nothing to lose.

  Not to mention the lunacy that is the American army, composed of the "scum" the country cannot keep at home.

  I stopped shaving two days before my last meeting (last January) and didn't shave it off completely until late summer. Tried many styles, some looked good because the proper areas had enough coverage (but it takes a long time to get there). Others looked stupid for the opposite reason.

  My mother hated it from the beginning, but as I changed styles she would occasionally nod approval and say such and such was catchy or whatever. There were a few times i would change styles and she wouldn't even notice, so I know she was only saying so as not to have me stand out so much, and bring less reproach upon her (untarnished? what does she think they don't find dirt somewhere else) name. She would always dance a jig whenever I shaved it off. LOL

  Older witness assclowns would smile like jackasses.

  When I went to a couple assemblies and gatherings with it people would automatically say "nice to see you here" and smile (people I didn't know at all) as they assumed what exactly? They didn't know me from Adam Baldwin.

  Since it's been a year since the first time I tried, I'm trying again, haven't shaved in about a week. Will let it grow and see how stupid it looks this time. There is more terminal coverage and less vellus coverage, but not by much...

  Myself, I can't stand cognitive dissonance, it drives my already lax executive function into denial and error. (This works here Abandoned )

  After that, my family, who don't know me at all and figure all my problems result from shock, laziness, and fear.

  Surprisingly, it used to be my mother, but now she's at the bottom of the barrel below hobolo's on the street. (Abadoned hopefully we can keep this going forever! )

  ten pounds in ten weeks week one

  haven't read the posts on the other thread yet - will do so asap.

  in the meantime, had a long day myself, did not got for a walk, worked nine hours without a break!

  busy day, had breakfast, only a yogurt for lunch, was glad to come home and have a bowl of cereal.

  Haha, you are all losing weight and I'm probably going to be gaining ten pounds every week for about a month, at least that's what I'm told to expect on this anti-depressant. Shame too, I figure I'm perfect right now the way I am at 80 kilos being 182 cm tall.

  Average weight gain per week on Mirtazapine 2.6kg a week. I can't stop eating...
