I try my best to keep it full.
I think I am a realist, but I try to look at the good side especially when it comes to people.
we've all heard the cliches .
" when the going get's tough, the tough get going .
" etc., etc., ...... " better to have loved and lost .... than never loved at all.

AC, Some excellent training for breath holding in the off time is a sport called underwater hockey. I love it!
Thanks for the suggestion but I hate group competitive sports(hokey, soccer, etc..) I have a training program for that but I agree that underwater hokey is a good way to train.

Free diver? I'm fascinated by that.
So you basically go down with no equipment except for mask & fins?
How long can you hold your breath?
Only mask, snorkel and fins. When I go deep I wear a 3.5mm wetsuit and 4 pounds of weight. I can hold my breath in static apnea for 3minutes and 30 seconds. I am going to start training to be able to hold it for 5minutes.
did adam and eve have belly buttons?
(navels).
you and i have them because we were a fetus and had a umbilical cord attached to us to provide nourishment and removal of waste etc.. since adam and eve was created and not born (and this is from a reliable source) would they have had a belly button.. .
Yea.. me and my JW friends when I was still in we would get together, we would ask a bunch of funny questions like that and some of my friends did not like it when we made them think. One question that a friend of mind asked that made everyone gasp (except me I was laughing my ass off) was if homosexuality is wrong why is the man's G spot situated were it is?

Old tread but I will still comment, PADI Dive master and free diver, free dived to 80-85 feet last year.
today, the international crime court celebrates its tenth anniversary .
i believe it has the potential to become a powerful tool against worldwide violations of human rights .
here's an introductory article on the court's proceedings and future activities:.
I have never heard of it but since this tread I have look at their web site and so far I can't see why someone would be afraid of it.
About the Court
The International Criminal Court (ICC) is an independent, permanent court that tries persons accused of the most serious crimes of international concern, namely genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. The ICC is based on a treaty, joined by 106 countries.
The ICC is a court of last resort. It will not act if a case is investigated or prosecuted by a national judicial system unless the national proceedings are not genuine, for example if formal proceedings were undertaken solely to shield a person from criminal responsibility. In addition, the ICC only tries those accused of the gravest crimes.
In all of its activities, the ICC observes the highest standards of fairness and due process. The jurisdiction and functioning of the ICC are governed by the Rome Statute. Download the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (PDF, 448KB).
I pasted some of the information on their site, I think this could resolve some of the concern. There is a lot more information and I don't see why there is concern, unless there is something I don't get.
does not believing in god bring evil down to a simple explanation of the conflict that is within every human being.
seems to me the "force" is at work in the world, and the "force" is both good and evil.
sometimes it is easier for me to believe in the existence of satan than the existence of god.
I agree. Megs said the same thing in the first post.
I guess I should read the posts more often, I'm lazy some times.
dont just list one, list them all so we can laugh because in all honesty i can't believe we believed some of them.
for example, i was told annie lennox stopped a concert to ask if there was any jw's in the audience, and if there was could they leave as they were stopping the demons getting through...is this even remotely true?
did annie lennox ask the jw's in the audience to move because they were stopping the snack lady getting through...and it got twisted through chinese whispers.... the other day (i felt sick) one witness was banging on about how amazing it was that the watchtower society's building was the only one standing still...wtf...my stepdad responded with a 'wow thats amazing' and the first brother was like 'yeah i know'...grrrrrrrrr aaaaaaaah screaaaaaaaaam .
Shawn that was funny. I have one. A JW missionary somewhere in Africa and he was in a village were kids would disappear. One day wile he was returning form a neighboring village he took a short cut through the bush and he stumble across two sorcerers sacrificing a child. The missionary started to run and the two sorcerers started to fly, they had a blue aura around them, they were catching up to him so he started to pray, of course Jebus saved him.

I personally think that there is no such thing as good or evil, in the absolute sense, we make up our own good and evil depending on the circumstance. If there is such a thing as a god I don't think it would have any morals like we perceive them. If you believe that good and evil is determined by a god then I think there is still no absolute good or evil. The bible is a good example. If god decides that killing and raping is good then it becomes good just because he decided it was. Is eating a fruit morally wrong? No of course not but it becomes wrong when god says it's wrong. If there is a Satan this person would be considered evil only because he does not accept god's decision. Do you think that is evil? I don't.
i'm sitting in the living room reading jwd on my laptop.
