  Why the excuse, "we are theocratic"?

  the wts claim to be theocratic when really they are a dictatorship .when ever did they consult the rank and file and why do so many followers accept blindly their pronouncements.maybe it's because of fear or perhaps just plain ignorance.why can't the g.body write to every jw and ask their opinions about forth coming changes to the washtower editions.they could ask individual members by means of a questionaire ; things like, how satisfied are you with the society?

  tick one box ",very satisfied", "not very satisfied"," who gives a monkeys".

  "always" or "almost always" or " are you peeing down my back or is it raining".another question; the statement millions now living will never die , only tick one box remember , "was true at the time", or" was never true" or "still true today" or " i believe whatever , do i look bothered".. last question ; because we are tax exempt and a charity case what is the the most humanitarian act do you think we have carried out?

  when i look around at all the people in the world, i'm comforted to know that jehovah will soon destroy them.. i'm talking about people that don't attend our encouraging christian meetings.

  yes, people that don't zealously participate in the preaching of the good news.

  i was first contacted by the jws in 1968 when i was pg w/our first son.

  i bought the little blue book "the truth that leads to everlasting life" for 25 cents.

  found it interesting, but put it away because i was busy after our son's birth and i didn't think my husband would want to get into religious material as we had left the methodist church because they were always crying for $.. jump ahead to 1970. husband was home which was unusual because he normally worked saturdays.

  I think we ignore the read flags because of the mind control but I also think it's because we want it to be true. It's hard to believe that so many people can be misled and that an organisation can be so evil. Sometimes it makes cry...

  The Eden Story

  in the garden of eden, god supposedly didn't want adam and eve to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and bad.

  he preferred they remain innocent and incapable of deciding for themselves what is right or wrong.. along comes satan who wants them to eat of this tree and says they will become like god, knowing good and bad for themselves.

  he says they will be like god.. as we all know, they chose to eat and find out what they were missing.

  where does it say in the bible that they were created as adults? Maybe they were created as children and later sinned wen they were adults, but I still think it's all myth.

  i never was baptize as a jw.

  i use to study with them for years, i even went as for as becoming a unbaptize publisher.

  i gave up being a publisher because i did not feel genuine in my efforts to preach.

  I go inward, meditation, yoga, martial arts. I realised I don't need other people telling me what I need to do to be "in touch with god" or the cosmos or whatever you want to call it. Spirituality is very personal. Their are very different ways you have to find the right one for you.

  She told me to not be concern of the history of Jehovah witnesses. To leave the past in the past.

  I like that one. You could use the same excuse for every other religion.

  i'm not talking about the stuff you hear at the kingdom hall, i'm talking about the "experiences" you were told of by people you knew.

  the big one for me was demons.

  so many people i know had experiences with them.

  Putting old Watchtowers and Awakes under your bed so demons will not come out from under your bed.

  Keeping an open bible in your bedroom so demons to come into your room

  Putting watchtowers across your front door so the ghetto demons don't break into you house and steal your stuff

  my favorite is putting watchtowers and awakes down to save seats for your entire family at the assembly, keep those demons off your fucking seats!!!

  i decided to read for myself the articles my father and mother were reading during this interesting time in witness history.

  i stumbled upon the following paragraph that scared the bejeezus out of me: .

  "one thing is absolutely certain, bible chronology reinforced with fulfilled bible prophecy shows that six thousand years of mans existence will soon be up, yes, within this generation!

  I brought this up to my dad he said it had nothing to do with me because I was not borne in that time, I was like "what!!" It's relevant because I was lie too. I was raised in the JW believing that they never suggested a date, that is was the individuals who speculated. They lied and tried to cover it up. My dad ten said "Good I'm glad they lied, I'm still going to follow Jehovah" I could not believe what I was hearing, all well, what are you going to do wen somebody reasons this way?

  The Gene Swarm, Human Apes, and Governments

  the gene swarm is a very broad subject in itself, it probably can be called an entity by human ape language it all depends on your point of view (if narrow or broad).

  we human apes are but a very small part of this entity, and government even smaller part of it and far more temporary, than the human apes..

  I believe government is just a way for other humans to take things and have a "better" life ten other humans. The reason why, I think, that government still exist is because the people in power control the information and we are condition to accept tings the way they are. We are borne in to slavery. Maybe we do have certain "freedoms" we did not have and we do get to vote but the fact that a slave gets to choose his master does not mean he is free. I do hope government has we know it will disappear.
