Only time I EVER answered was when I was teenager when it was pre-arranged by mother (of course) who thought it was about time I made a comment, first and last time.

Commenting At The Meetings---Did You Enjoy It?
by minimus inwas that important for you?
most people, i believe, forced themselves to give an answer.
i knew many elders and servants over the years being counseled because they rarely answered.. funny thing....my mom who is 88 cries if she doesn't give a comment.

Since you mention garnishment, sound like your check is being affected, but usually when they reach that point don't they give you several chances to make some kind of payment arrangement ?

No, don't think you're talking to much at all, that's what this place is here for.
Btw, your post is quite interesting though, just curious about another question since you were raised in Queens also, I'll send that one via PM also.

OneEyedJoe - Started to say how that's amazing that they didn't boot his ass from being an elder or being a brother, but I remember a bro in our hall that no matter when he gave a talk or made a comment if there was any way to work any mention of sex, he always did it !! Everyone was aware of how unappropriate he is, but they finally found away to remove him from being elder like 50 years after of his unappropriate comments and talks.

Wish my mother was still alive to experience all that mayhem at Nassau Coliserum because that's just where here she would've been attending,
I just here her " oh what a lovely peogram, food at the proper time" and all that nauseating stuff.
Dugout, I'm sending you a PM

Watchtower Approved Blood Transfusions
by Lee Elder inwe have just published a new article at ajwrb entitled:.
watchtower approved blood transfusions.
http://ajwrb.org/watchtower-approved-blood-transfusions.

That article is precise regarding what Dubs can take regarding blood. However I can't help but run this scenario thru my mind if I were a Dub, If I'm in the hospital and I'm having surgery or some procedure that requires blood, if the Dr asked me if I'm willing to take blood and I say no because I'm a JW and I hand him this article I think he would laugh in my face, blood is blood no matter how you break it down.
That's like me eating peanut butter I totally can't stand it, but if I went to your house and you offered me some kind of cake where peanut butter is in the mixture, but you can' tell because of the chocolate or other ingredients, if I eat a piece of that cake. Yet I say "I can't stand peanut butter, if that was the last food on earth I still wouldn't eat it" the person would have to say "well, you just had some cake and one of the ingredients is peanut butter", I would just have to stand their red faced and wouldn't know what to say, which by the way is many Dubs do when question them on the breakdown of blood and SO many other of their flip flop prophecies.

My frist email letter from my JW Dad. So sad...
by suavojr ini am in my early 30s and woke up to ttatt in late 2012. my dad just turned 65 in june!
wow, i never saw that being possible.. .
he just got himself a computer and was able to get internet in a remote location where he is serving as an elder with my mom (where the need is great) i was happy to see how he was able to send me a few notes saying hi and i was able to share some pictures of my wife and family, etc.. .

WW1. WW2, Korean War, VIetnam War JFK Assasination, MLK Assasination, RFK Assasination, earthquakes, tornadoes, tsunamis. Columbine school tragedy, Sept. 11 attack, Pearl Harbor attack.
Mention all these things to your dad and as him if the Dubs mentioned those occurences as being a sign of the times, he'll be a little hesitant to answer because the answer is YES.
Interesting that he mentions that no man knows the day nor hour yet the Dubs have been predicting doom and gloom ever since that drunken CW Russell came out of one of his drunken stupors and created the JWs.

I hear you Finally, but then on the other side I've heard many women say that they've had worst monthly cramps than the pain from their labor !!
If only that pain could be transferred over to men !! I don't even have any kids but when the wife goes into labor all the guy does is just sit in a chair for the labor then put on an apron and go to the delivery room and watch !! Like I said I don't have any kids, but if only it was that easy for women !
