  ABCNews Nightline: Segment on JW absuse cases here......

  here is the segment on the conti abuse case in california and jehovah's witness's response as reported on by the abcnews nightline broadcast which was shown early this morning.

  it really displays some absolutely shocking behavior from not only her abuser and his (supportive) wife, but also the jw attorneys and elders via video.

  i am just blown away by the audacity displayed by these monsters.. we can now understand why governing body member stephen lett slipped in his comments a couple of weeks ago about "untrue reports of child abuse" in one of his talks which can viewed on the cult's website.

  i was at a criminal trial all day in murfreesboro, tn, involving the notorious jw who i call "mommy molester," angela montgomery.

  this is the reason i didn't know until this evening that the nightline program with the segment on jws was changed until tomorrow night.

  Kendrick just say he's still in good standing with the Cong, for some reason they let molesters back, but I thought beards were still not allowed, but I see that they are. His wife btw is a real nut job herself since he also molested her granddaughter but she's still his loving wife?

  What stands out to me in that picture is they are obviously on a beach, are those two sisters so eager to get their time in that they actually walk up and down a sandy beach with the rags in their hands thinking that people will obviously stop and listen to them ?

  what would the likes of al sharpton say if the hallowed event this weekend at the edmund pettus bridge in selma, alabama had been attended by a miss white u.s., miss white georgia and miss white teen?

  Marvin, what exactly happened to you within the last few days to start this topic? Were you cut off in traffic or mugged or something (no need to mention the ethnicity if what I wrote did, in fact happen). Just wondering what makes you start such a thread.

  But generally speaking I've noticed as I mentioned in my first post on this thread that when somebody posts somebody about the race, it goes on for 20 or more pages.

  One of the most laughable (and pathetic) things about the preaching work is the ones that stand in the subway station like a statue holding up the magazines. Yet I'm sure they're so glad to get their time in !

  some jw's on various postingshave asked me was there anything about the jw's i still agree with.

  of course there are some things i agree with and some i partially do.

  1. political involvement - while i do not agree with totally avoiding anything associated with politics, i agree that many of todays churches are way too involved in trying to sway their constituents beliefs.

  not sure where to post this, but the other day my jw mom says to me, 'the number is increasing they announced that we need 40,000 new kingdom halls'.

  ok, who else has heard this, and how should i respond, other than to say well your cong is smaller now than it was 15 years ago..... where your growth?.

  40,000 when folks, especially young folks are leaving, which means when they go they have no kids raise up in the cult and carry on the BS?

  Somebody said that from the stage, or just some nosy pioneer elder wife trying to  impress the others?
