The last Circuit Assembly I attended was at Shea Stadium, right next to LaGuardia Airport, so those planes going overhead every few minutes was enough to wake you up. Not a good place to try to catch a nap.

Witnesses - Ever Wondered Why You're So Tired After Assemblies/Meetings?
by The Searcher inrecently shared this with me.. they compared the tiredness they felt after attending an assembly and meetings, and noted how much worse it was than actually working and studying hard for hours for their secular employment!
why were they so exhausted after an assembly/meeting?
no, it wasn't satan.

Anybody familiar with Gordon Lewis? Last time I heard and that was about nine years ago he was in a southern state, could've been South Carolina or Virginia, his wife's name is Risi.

Do you have J-dar?
by JWdaughter intoday at work i had an interesting set of co workers.
one was telling us about her side job selling sex toys(also a l&d nurse).
the other one, very beautiful, intelligent woman told us of her 2 kids.

I have J-Dar too, I'm not 100 per cent at it, more like 90.
Someone mentioned a Kingdom smile, i call it the Jesus/cult smile, after you talk to some for a while they usually have that Jesus smile on their face, and it's not just JWs, any other Cult, like the one the Duggars belong to and many others. After I've heard some folks in other folks talk and they tell a story and then Jesus comes into it they usually have that smile on their face.

SecretSlaveClass asked if there are any trolleys in New York? There are too many carts in New York City !!
In some subway stations there's two and three in the same station right across from each other.

The Witnesses Are Really Trying Hard To Get Me Back In
by minimus inat my mom's bed side all i see is either jw family or friends making a concerted effort to have me return to their fold.
evidentlyy, my mom has encouraged this and i'm a trapped prisoner, as they do their best to have me come back.
it's bad enough that i have to endure my mom's dying, now i have to be bombarded with this bs..

Just ask them to explain the scripture that says "no man knows the day nor hour".
Ask them if they believe that scripture, and they always says yes, then ask why do the Dubs always act like the Big A is just around the corner.

A simple physical exercise leads to great discovery!
by iconoclastic inwhen i was working in a shipping company, captain invited me to his house for his wedding anniversary.
there i was attracted to his father (aged around 80) who seemed to be very healthy.
with me he became very comfortable, and talkative.

Hard to believe that breathing through your anus will make you feel energized.

Hey Simon
by ShirleyW ini'm noticing that when i open quite a few of the posts here i notice that the end of the sentences on some lines are breaking improperly.
like for the word paragraph, it's broken up with the "aph" on the next line for an example.
it's happening a lot i'm seeing it just about in every post i open, is it just my view and my computer?.
