Yes, I agree they Borg attracts dysfunctional people, my mother included. Someone pointed out to me that people with mental issues need some kind of schedule to keep them busy and something where they can jot down notes to remind them of what they've done and/or what needs to be done. That's what da troof provides, daily field service and weekly meetings that must be studied for, jotting down from the meetings for future reference.

Should I get babtized?
by BlackWolf ini know this sounds like a ridiculous question but i was talking with my mom in the car today and of course we got on the topic of getting babtized again.
she told me that jehovah holds me accountable for my sins regardless of wether i am babtized or not so i have no reason to be holding back because it won't change anything.
my parents are the type of super strict jw who will shun you just for not being a witness.

There are many JW teachers and I've heard a few say they let their class plan the holiday parties, they just don't participate in it.
There was a case here in NYC about ten years ago when a teacher told a KIndergarten class there was no Santa Claus, I believe she was suspended for a while, or either lost her job. How dare a pompous Dub tell a bunch of five year olds there's no Santa Claus, like she could actually count that time or something.

Didn't they announce back in the 80's at one of the assemblies that the Dubs should be careful of what they listen to? Because I remember a Sis that came of our house for the weekly Book Study said she was so proud of her son, she didn't even have to remind him to go through his music and he see what was demonic, he did it himself, such a proud JW mom . . . . ugh

That rag is from 1994, didn't they do something similar ten more years earlier? I know I remember reading separate stories of a child that had died because they're parents wouldn't let them take blood. Even if the words came out the childs mouth that they don't want blood because they're a JW, children can't sign contracts so their parents are the ones that allowed there children to be murdered, all because of seven old guys in Brooklyn who had the parents thinking they were doing it for Jehovah. Because of that alone I'm surprised some of their properties haven't been attacked for just the blood issue alone.

by atomant inget this my sister and her elder husband are visiting from over seas and are currently being groomed by bethel how to set a better example.they are being told how to behave right down to how to dress to set a proper christian example.anyway they are both over weight by a fair margin to be considered unhealthy.the clincher is this elder whom is over weight had the outright cheek to counsel my other sister whom is a j dub that she is over weight and needs to do something about it.
now hows that for hypocritical behaviour.prime example in any ones book dont you think???

I watched the whole thing just to see how they would throw in some scriptures on a video on puberty - smh
Was surprised to hear them mention if you're attracted to the same sex during puberty (which I have never heard of before by the way) to not be ashamed, surprised they didn't quote the scripture about men who lie/lay with other men.
