  i've never written down my story and it could be a jerry springer episode but here goes.

  i was raised as a jehovah's witness from as early as i can remember.

  It's interesting that you wanted to be with a man and your wife wanted to be with a woman, I've heard of that happening before, but not among "Jehovahs faithful servants", but it probably has happened in the Borg. We all know by this point that Bethel is basically a meat market for young men. That plus the fact that there's so many obviously gay people in the Borg, but when the nosy folks get together and discuss how Bro/Sis so and so appears to be homosexual, someone always says Jehovah will take care of it, clean up his organization in due time, and let them continue pioneering or being an elder, but if a new obviously gay person starts studying, somewhere down the line they will have a "discussion" about what is their intent about coming a JW, such hypocrisy.

  That's why I use the name ShirleyW on this board to show the hypocrisy, that's the name of one of the two pioneer sisters that started attending the KH I grew up in when I was about nine or ten years old, I'm pushing 60 in a few years and these two are still "roommates". Yes I know there are many roommates all over the planet that are not in a relationship, but if you knew these two, you can get a good read of what's going on.

  i have a question.....if two jw have sex and only one of them goes to the eldurrs and confesses.....do they both get busted?

  or does the boe need a confession from both people.?

  if one of em denies it happened will that person still get df'd?.

  Back in the 70's a brother that was a close friend of my family, conducted the watchtower on Sunday and was Df'd that Wednesday at the meeting for having a affair with a pioneer sister, she was DFd too. They both got divorced and married each other and got DFd and reinstated, I remember a sister in Cong saying after they got married they stopped by her house one evening for social visit, but was kinda weird since she was friends with his other wife. I wonder if both of them ever woke up from da troof, or maybe he's still carrying on and dumped her yet another pioneer sis.

  What TV shows were forbidden in your JW household?

  in the u.s., three's company was not allowed.

  it was explained to me that it was an immoral show because a man and women lived together and no one was married.

  the sister who gave this observation was a family friend and we were newbies to the religion.. at least i somehow managed to watch the benny hill show undetected..

  My mother told me that at one of her Circuit Assemblies, this is going back almost 20 years that one of the assholes giving a talk (my words not hers) managed to work in The Simpsons into his talk and said that Dubs shouldn't really be watching the show since Bart obviously does not show respect to his father . . . pukeworthy, I know.

  Funny thing is that was one of the few shows on TV that my mother enjoyed, and as much as an UberDub as she was I don't think she stopped watching

  brandnew - glad the meds are taking the pain away, but I would highly recommend that you have someone go the store for you and pick up some prunes or aloe vera juice or a very strong laxative, or just in case all three ! That might sound funny, but in a day or two you just might be a bit more uncomfortable than you are now if ya' know what I mean.

  THOUGHTS ON UPGRADING TO (Free) WINDOWS 10

  i've been using windows 7 for several years and have had no complaints.. i've tried many browsers and settled on google chrome.

  it has absolutely everything i want or need.. i kept hearing about the free upgrade to windows 10, so i went to youtube and watched endless "reviews" pro and con.. what pushed me over the (microsoft edge) was the fact i could test drive the new operating system.

  for 30 days and go back to windows 7 if i didn't like it!

  I just got a new computer two months ago with WIndows 10, other computer is nine years old and runs Vista, so I needed something new anyway.

  Terry, do you use Microsoft Edge? The guy at the store told me when I bought it that Microsoft released it a bit too soon before they could get the kinks out so I"ve never really used it, what do you think of it?

  in your personal experience, do you think that the wt attracts needy types of people?

  over the years, my experience is that they do attract very needy, insecure, dysfunctional, types.

  i had an acquaintance that i just basically cut off.

  Yes, I agree they Borg attracts dysfunctional people, my mother included. Someone pointed out to me that people with mental issues need some kind of schedule to keep them busy and something where they can jot down notes to remind them of what they've done and/or what needs to be done. That's what da troof provides, daily field service and weekly meetings that must be studied for, jotting down from the meetings for future reference.

  I just don't get it with Prince,some say he's so talented (just like some think Kanye is musically talented).

  Is he trying to give the hint that he's gay or something, not just in that pic but over the years, like the chaps with his ass out he wore on an awards show a while back, something's definitely wrong with that freak.

  Should I get babtized?

  i know this sounds like a ridiculous question but i was talking with my mom in the car today and of course we got on the topic of getting babtized again.

  she told me that jehovah holds me accountable for my sins regardless of wether i am babtized or not so i have no reason to be holding back because it won't change anything.

  my parents are the type of super strict jw who will shun you just for not being a witness.
