this thread is inspired by a beloved poster who said he managed to sleep all through yesternight.. how about you, do you sleep through the night?.
each morning, around 2 am, it's as if a hand shakes me awake.. i became accustomed to arising at that time to take care of my semi-invalid mother.. she passed nearly 12 years ago, but my body?
mind?
I guess I don't require to much sleep because I can tell you the rundown of TV shows, at least my favorites from midnight on thru the night
3am - Make Room Daddy 4am-HEre's Lucy 5am Our Miss Brooks, then I switch to the I Love Lucy reruns then after those Golden Girls comes on, then also at 7am the Sundance CHannel will sometimes run some good repeats like Mary Tyler Moore, Mayberry, Barney Miller, etc.
Sometimes I will sleep thru it all, but that's not too often
i could never understand why some people who know the truth about the "truth" ever go back.
once you understand all the hypocrisy and negatives, i would think it's almost impossible to go back!.
Only if I was told that's where I would have to pick up my jackpot winnings from Powerball or MegaMillions, but we know that will never happen (btw just imagine all the dubs that play the lottery on the side, can you imagine when they win the big numbers and their picture ends up in the paper?)

good afternoon! just now getting around to reading the new posts
so a couple came into the library where i work today and the woman said she was from the british sign language association and asked if i would display a leaflet for her.
when she handed me the leaflet the jw website logo jumped out at me as did the words 'would you like to study the bible with jehovah's witnesses?
' there was a small picture that had someone conversing in sign language but the other pictures were typical jw leaflet pictures.
sounds like a double whammy, she is from the BSLA but she's also a Dub

Guess I've been watching too many Mayberry reruns, I thought everyone in the southern states owned there own property, passed down from his/her granddaddy and the granddaddy before that
i received a phone call, "is that (name)?".
i was working my way around a car park and answered.
"yeah hang on" at which the caller hung up.. this is a scam where they are wanting you to confirm who you are so they can move on identity theft.. the voice was male clear like a professional announcer.. i have reported this to the relevant authorities.. i have also frozen my bank account..
that scam has been on the local news here in NYC several times, they want to hear your voice, hear you say your name
this is obviously a question for the older generation.
i'm really curious what it was like to be a witness in the 60's and 70's?.
was the society as strict as it is today?.
I remember the standing up to eat cafeteria style lunch at the assemblies. They always said back then that the Army came to observe how they fed so many people in that amount of time or something.
