  JW critically injured after being electrocuted in assembly hall

  a newspaper reports that in bornem, belgium, a jw volunteer was critically injured after being electrocuted:.

  bornem - a man was electrocuted while performing maintenance on a high voltage installation in the assembly hall of jw in bornem friday afternoon.

  the man was critically injured.. possibly the man, who is a volunteer with the jw, tried to clean the installation with a vacuum cleaner.

  Do you know anything about Live Kingdom Hall?

  i learned recently about this link that allows for a person to listen or watch the meetings at the kh that have contracted the service.

  you have the option to watch the meeting live or just listen.

  there will be a recording of the audio available until the next meeting.. i don't think that this is an official wt arrangement, it might be a private enterprise like the preaching materials .

  the new york post said "the average life span of a corvette stingray (sports car) parked on the street in new york was only 24 hours!".

  one time driving back from rhode island at 2:00 a.m. i took a wrong turn in the south bronx’s.

That's the only thing I can think of, you can't feel sorry for people who are warned, but then just go ahead and knock on the door, you get what you ask for

  i find it pretty shocking how corporate the jw religion is.

  i never saw it this way when i was in but now that i look at it from a different perspective, it seems quite clear.

  much of the terminology used by jws is corporate inspired.

  Are Dubs the most corporate religion? Of course they are.

  I remember thinking when I was a kid that why is a religion being referred to as the Society, or the Organization.

  The time sheets, keeping up with everyone's hours is equivalent to a Marketing Dept, keeping up with the monthly sales of their employees.

  Faces on TV Broadcasting

  i agree that being photogenic is not given to every ordinary mortal.

  .

  but when at the beginning of every new month i am confronted with the various faces of those males showing off as a priority on tv-jw (see jw broadcating september 2017), i am asking myself if i honestly am faced with normal people, or with people who went mental already since ages ago.. is it maybe due to the fact that the majority of them already do not feel anymore like belonging to ordinary mortals ?

  "Prayer" and answers to it , positive / negative ,or is it all in the mind ?

  speaking from my own experience and that of my family of wife and two now adult sons do not believe that prayers to jehovah /god are answered .. so it must also be true of all other religions and their believers also.. my wife and i were jw`s for 33 years and and i don`t believe anyone prayed harder than my wife and i at various trials we faced during those times in those 33 years.. we may as well have been like the present day jews who pray to a brick wall .

  I think prayer is a joke, let's take two hospital rooms across from each other, the men in both rooms are in serious condition and they have their family around them praying for his health. The man in one of the rooms dies and the man in the other room lives. What happened since both of the families were praying?

  I think the more a person prays the more of a phony Christian they are.
