There's a list that has been posted several times saying you might belong to a cult if: and I"m not referring to the list by that comedian, I think Steve Hassan wrote the list I'm referring to. All of the list sounds familiar for the JWs and I'm sure Scientology and even the Mormons would have to agree with the list.

Leah Remini and Scientology show
by blownaway ini have been watching leah remini's show about scientology.
as she interviews people i see that i was right many years ago when i said this is a lot like the jws.
they do not go after people quite the same way but they sure are very similar in how they run their org.

Chook - You actually know someone who said that the JWs were protected from AIDS because of not taking blood? Could you please tell that bro or sis that in the Cong I attended I can name one elder and the wife of the elder, she got it from him, along with both of their infant twins, I don't think either one of them made it to their first birthday. Also in the 80's at the time all those deaths from AIDS was happening, in another Cong this young brother who was hairdresser died from pneumonia, so you can figure that one out I'm sure, plus two more sisters I just thought of.
ALSO, reading that attachment, with the brothers talking back and forth about earthquakes, what the heck is this app they all have now? Do all Dubs have this app to track every quake, but in there minds they think they're tracking how much longer to the Big A? What a bunch of morons.

What's Happening in Italy? Bethel Relocating Departments to Bologna?
by Room 215 inaccording to some websites, it appears there's going to be a transferral of several departments out of rome and to imola (bologna) in november, along with the sale of some property in the capital.. are they downsizing?
anyone know what's going on?.

Anyone who has visited the Bethel in Italy know if it's true that they served wine with their meals, because of Italian tradition or was that just another JW lie being passed around, and also at the German Bethel they had beer with their meals. I remember hearing that several times
I'm sure the young boys in Brooklyn would've appreciated it if the same were true for them, think of all the money they would've saved out of their own pocket if the American Bethel served beer and wine.

New "Annointed" Brother In My Old Hall...
by pale.emperor ini've only just stopped laughing.. in my old hall there's a brother who's now claiming to be of the anointed.. he's 28.. i do wonder if he's doing this for attention, if he's awake and messing with them, or if he really is that deluded.
when i was in he was an ms. which surprised even me because only a year earlier than that he was "a bit of a lad", is rubbish at talks and relies on his elder uncle to get him out of trouble all the time.. i guess this now means he's get his pick of jw sisters.
he's been after the same one as the rest of his peers since 2014..

Are all the GB members, past and present, partakers? When one dies and is replaced does that automatically buy you a spot in heaven?
Didn't somebody post here a few weeks ago the quote from the washtowel that basically said they are aware that among the many mental patients within the Org they now acknowledge that quite a few of them think they are on that first train to heaven, since they notice the number of partakers keep going up when in fact all 144,000 should've bought the farm decades ago?

We don't take collections like other religions do...
by Alfred ini think this screen shot says it all... need i say more?.

I wish I could show that to my mom, wonder what she would say now since she also was one that always said the Dubs don't collect money like the other religions, now they have a reward program? What's that, a couple of extra hours you add to your time sheet without actually doing the time? (as if that doesn't now)

How many do you figure are converted through the door to door ministry?
by HereIgo ini regular pioneered for 2 years and never have actually converted anyone through the door to door work, in fact, i only knew a few individuals that joined this way.
most were born-in or at least had some type of family influence.
i had several bible studies but they all got cold feet when things got serious and potential baptism was discussed.

Well that was basically the only way folks came in back in the day, now I'd say it's probably at the 2 per cent mark.

JW.org is a real estate and publishing company disguesd as a religion.
by UNCONDITIONAL LOVE insince my awakening i have tried to understand why and how people could continue to believe so blindly in a proven false "religious" cult that has such an extensive and detailed record of scandals, lies and cover ups???
i've come to the personal conclusion that there are three major reasons.
i call them the 3 f-ups!

um, in the daytime hours I do believe it's a well known fact if it's a clear day the sky is blue, only a JW would mention sunrise or sunset . . .
