Positive memories as a JW child..
by fulano init is based on gorbatsjov's good topic, but we all must have had nice, pleasant, romantic moments in our congregations.. i was always a dedicated boy, baptized at 14. we had our bookstudy at 8:00 pm and before that our fieldservice at 7:00 pm .
most of times, as a 14-16 years old boy i was the only one there with our conductor.
he was from aruba, immigrated to our cold and wet european country.

Do you remember this?
by Gorbatchov inwhen g. was a litle kid, remembering the watchtower study at age 9, hearing all the stuff, the paragraph, the questions, the answers, about topics i could not understand, so it became so abstract that it was not entering my ears and brains.
it felt that i was no part of the group, someone alone on a distant planet.. do you remember this feeling?.

Like the time I was about 5 or 6 asking, "Mom, what is heavy petting?"
Heavy petting? HA ! The Sunday Washtowel mtg back in the early 70's one Sunday was about oral sex, first time I ever heard of it. I remember I was in JHS, me and my friend sitting next to each other giggling and carrying on. What about the kids that were much younger,I wonder later on that evening at Dinner did they discuss what they learned at the mtg that afternoon. Interesting how Dub parents always try to keep their kids from hearing about sex on the radio and TV, but at the mtg they have no problem with it, which makes no sense at all

Family is now reaping what they sowed and they don't like it.
by Gemmel ini resigned from the jw's in my 20's over 30 years ago, i was immediately shunned by my entire family and it's remained that way with a few exceptions ever since.
one of those exceptions was being contacted by a cousin a few years back and during that conversation i discovered that my mother had been and still was the prime mover in my complete and continuing shunning.
i then used what contacts i had left to confirm it.

Great scripture to read to them.
There's also one that says " you are known by works" or words to that effect, where I'm sure the saying "action speaks louder than words" comes from. If you know where that scripture is you could've read them that one too.

Rick Fearon - Six Screens of the Watchtower
by dubstepped inso a friend today asked me what his deal is and i honestly don't know.
i saw someone post about his accusations that the doj is investigating watchtower and people seemed down on the guy, as well has johnny the bethelite or whatever his name is that claims to leak stuff.
i don't know rick fearon, don't watch his show, but his site just seems a little crazy, and he seems to get into occult conspiracies and the jws, which never lends credibility.. so for those of you who have been around a while, what's the deal?

I wonder if some with mental issues gravitate toward the site.
Yeah, because "all" the exDubs here are of completely sound mind . . . .hold on trolls, notice I what I did to the word all, because the same is true of Rick's site and the same is true here. Do you want an example, OK, someone who still posts here after I responding to their post, I just asked a question about what they posted and they answered. Week later, I get PMs about "who are you, you don't know me, going on and on, and got a few more after that, I sent them to Simon. Trust I have another doozy I could tell from someone who posts on and off here as well.
I myself don't think Rick is that much "out there" as others do, every week he discusses things that are brought up here on this site so, I guess some of you are saying things here are a little off? I have to say though some of the folks he gives an hours worth of time to, are JW myth, like he a XJW Veronica, who had an hour on his show which was about JWs and the Masons. SHe also claims that she is the reason for that story about the Smurf that ran up the KH aisle and started cursing. I have no problem in saying I think she's one sandwich short of a picnic and couldn't care less if she reads this, plus the fact I've mentioned her bizarro world here before.

Just wondering, the saying that you should do to others the same that they do to you is based on a Bible Scripture, which one I have no idea. Did you quote that scripture to him when you denied his request? Hope so.

What Is Your Opinion Of Melania Trump?
by minimus ini think she’s very intelligent and dignified.
plus, in my humble opinion, i rate her as the most attractive first lady ever..

But what should I expect from people that support a reality tv star as President?
(I predict many “Dislikes” and no genuine dialogue or discussion from the members of the Trump cult in response to this comment.) -

Exactly Finkelstein - She doesn't come off as evil and empty headed as her husband, but she's the only First Lady whom we have seen in the nude. Many of her pictures were published from when she was modeling . A schoolmate of mine, Russell Simmons, used to be quite close with Trump (some of you have heard of him, some of you have not I'm sure) he has said in more than one interview that he was there when Trump first met Melania. He's also tied up in some sexual abuse cases just like Trump, so they were hanging out back in the day chasing after the same thing. That's why we will never here the story that we've heard from all the other POTUS of how they met their wives. Trump's love story involved a phone call and a credit card number.
