Our 10th Wedding Anniversary today.

Bizarre comment about jw.org at SAD
by sir82 inrecently attended a sad.. bethel speaker was gushing about the wt's embrace of new technology, in the part of his talk warning about "apostate" web sites.. a loose summary of his comments:.
"and the brothers at headquarters have made it very safe for you to go to our website.
in fact, the brothers talked to the folks at google, and they made a special arrangement so that when you type in 'j w period' into the google search engine, it automatically shows you the jw.org website.

That line alone absolutely nauseates me. Yes it is a loving provision that some folks sent their children to college without getting the evil eye, and those educated children made sure you can type in just two letters and be lead to all the bullcrap and lies.

Very strange comments from an elder.....
by quellycatface ini recall my husband talking to the wt conductor (before i da'd), who was asking him about his gym routine etc....as he was explaining, a young brother's name came into the conversation, who also liked to pump iron.
wt conductor said in a admiring tone "oooh, you should see brother so and so with his top off.
i actually wonder if there are latent homesexuals in the borg?

Do Facebook "Friends" That Constantly Brag, Irritate You?
by minimus inthere are a few people who are fb friends that constantly brag about themselves, their looks, their accomplishments, their bodies, their job---etc.. one particular person is too close to ignore but it's never ending.
i am thisclose to telling her, to please stop it.. any thoughts?.

You know she is reading all the comments here but realizes since she signed off for the second time here she cant use
her usual response to tell someone they have no class and how well educated she is. Class and education are not to
