Why I May Vote for Kerry

i'm a registered republican but i have to admit that after looking at john kerry's web site, i may have to sway my vote his way.

what caught my eye is kerry's attention toward jobs leaving for overseas countries and how the government can at least stop encouraging (and rewarding)large corporations from doing this.

at bush's site, i don't see anything about this huge problem facing america.

My dearest Corvin and other lefties- You did not address the issue of your purchases. Do you only buy American goods?

The lefties here have the exact same views as stage coach owners when Trains started to appear. "ohhh my! Those darn Trains can carry more people and goods and its Cheaper! It will ruin us all! We need to STOP allowing trains! We must protect the Stage Coaches!"

And what about oil lamp manufacterers? "Ahhh that Damn Electricity is going to put me out of business!"

And Mr. Nice Seatlle guy- How many people lost their jobs in the 80's and 90's due to computer technology and software developed in Seattle??

Royal- How many $25 machinists lost their jobs when CAD software (developed by the lefties in Seattle) became wide spread?

We used to make plastic army men in the States. I guess there are those on here who want to keep low paying idiotic jobs that do nothing keep our country a world leader. Who needs hi-tech companies like Lockheed, or Cisco when we can just make plastic toys.

I take it then Six, you and your fellow commies on this board only buy American products right? You dont shop at Walmart, Target, Kmart, or Ikea right? You own a HUMVEE because it has the highest percentage of American made parts. You dont own any thing made from Honda, Toyota, Acura, Mercedes, or VW right?? EVERYTHING you own is Made in America right?? Because if you ONLY buy American you will Gaurentee that those JOBS stay here. If you buy ANYTHING imported you are supporting those "Job Stealing Companies" that you bitch about. So unless you ONLY buy American, quit your whining.

first thing that jumps into your head.. reason i ask is i'm getting my first one next week and was wondering what the general concensus is.. i am definately sure about doing it.

thought about it for years and it took me 6 months to find the design i wanted.

Deleted original post as Six's comment was so inaccurate it was not worth addressing. I still love you though six Chev, you are voting for Kerry because your Job was outsourced? That sucks but it is hardly Bush's fault and Kerry couldnt have prevented it. I would rather see Billy Stick my Cigar in Ya Clinton back in office, Kerry is a Veteran back stabbing Moron.

Im not talking about immigration, we are talking about the loss of something to foriegn countries. That was your point right?

The crisis facing America is the good, manufacturing jobs leaving for China and other countries.

The crisis facing India, China, and Mexico, is the smart talented people leaving for America and other countries.

Its the same thing. Just a different commodity, one being jobs the other being brains.

We dont want to lose our low end jobs, and they dont want their intellectuals leaving the country to work over here.

Since you propose that we stop exporting jobs, then I expect you to support other countries not allow anyone with a degree to leave the country in order to prevent brain drain.

We are losing the real point here.

It doesnt matter if your Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Agnostic, Athiest, Mormon, Hindu, etc..etc.. if a NUKE goes of in your City,YOU will BE DEAD. This is not about Our Religion. A Nuke does not sit around and say "hmmmm maybe i'll spread the blast around that Hindu temple, oh the Harra Krisnas hand out cute flowers i better spare them....."

This about DESTROYING the WEST.

So when a Nuke goes off in London, will the Brits start singing a different tune? Or will you surrender like the Spanish?

IN LOVE & CONFUSED

here is my dilemma - short and to the point, need advice.

i met a man several months ago who is jw and we hit it off from the first night we met - (met in lounge) - and then spoke to him on a few occasions.

he admitted to me the first night we went out that he was married, at first i wasn't sure if i should pursue this, then he just swept me off my feet.

You are just setting yourself up to get hurt really bad. There are Billions of single men out there go find one or wait till he gets a divorce.
