  i wanted to say thank you to the wbts for enforcing a 'no-contact' rule on all those that have left the organization.. only by experiencing first-hand my former best-friends treating me like a complete stranger (see 'garbage') for standing up for my own beliefs was i finally able to tell the society 'good-bye' forever and not feel guilty about it.. i know this was not the wbts's intention from the alienation practice.

  it's intention was to make me feel guilty and lonely enough to come back to them.

  however, it has backfired on them and finally given me my freedom.. thank you, society, for lacking kindness and understanding.

  An interesting discussion with my wife

  last night i had an interesting talk with my wife in bed.. oprah had a show on recently about gays.

  now i don't normally watch oprah, but she was watching a taped one in the evening, so i was just overhearing stuff.

  anyway, i think my wife puts more faith in oprah than in the gb :).

  Being born gay, I totally agree with it. Although it's fun to let your hair down (or put it up ), there is a time and a place for everything.

  chumming for bear

  unthinkingly, last night i moved a garbage bag out on to the deck, and forgot to "bin" it....so this morning it was strewn across the deck..... maybe it was a dog or cat.... heck it could have been a raccoon, yeah!

  a raccoon, we were reassuring ourselves.... but the dogs knew better... their agitation and snuffling said bear but i sure didnt want to believe it.... the thought that a bear was on our deck is far from comforting.

  so this evening, getting the hounds in from the pen.... holy cr@p..... i didnt see it but they sure did..... hair on my neck and arms..... hair on their backs.... we looked like a mohawk convention...... spring is sprung so they are wide awake and hungry..... time to implement protocols!!!.

  Second Cousin commits Suicide

  my 2nd cousin walked out of her house after her husband and children were asleep and shot herself.

  she was in her early 40s.

  she was a jw.

  well i fried my motherboard so no computer access for me for a while.. my jw grandmother died last tues. of course no one told me until the day before the funeral.

  my ex-jw aunt thought she would give it a few days to see if my mother would make the call.

  and i suspected no one told her dfed son, so i asked mouthy/grace and her daughter to get a message to him.

  Welcome to JWD. I know exactly how you feel. I'd tell the story but it would takes pages. Let's just say I threw the baby out with the bath water due to shunning. It took me a while but, I found the baby again.
