  Can being gay live in harmony with being a christian?

  i have looked at the thread about gay marriages in california and thought about asking this question there, but instead of hi-jacking that one i thought i would ask it here.

  there seems to be quite a few gay people on this site and i wonder how many class themselves as christian?

  if so, can being gay live in harmony with being a christian?.

  I really liked the question posed here. I've had some intense conversations with (gasp) atheists and Christians alike on exactly this topic. I am respectful of anyone's belief.

  I will try again asap. It was a slip and I am determined to slow it down to a stop.

  I think I heard that somewhere...oh, wait, that was to become a virgin again! ;-)

  That's good to know. I am virginal! Have been now for a very long time.

  However, I am a big loser. Yesterday when I got home from work Simon, my cat was on the back porch. He couldn't walk. I thought he might have been hit by a car or something. I got him into his carrier and off to the vet. While he was at the vet I could not resist the urge to smoke. I failed on day 2. I went 43 hours without smoking.

  Simon has no broken bones but he does have a high fever and a blood infection possibly from a bite. He is on anti-biotics, again.

  I realize that I have to find a better way to deal with what life throws my way. Smoking just happens to be it for me right now. I really want to change.

  I know I can't run to cigarettes everytime something stressful happens. Need to work on it.

  H4O, now I know you never read anything I write.

  Thanks to all who sent encouraging PMs. I actually took today off and stayed in bed under the covers. So far cravings have not been that bad. Of course, I was asleep most of the day. It got really cold here again, frost tonight.

  Anyway, day 1 is almost under my belt. Tomorrow is day 2 and, I shall face the world as a newbie non-smoker.

  Anyone know who wrote the Truth book?

  as a kid, i remember hearing that "the truth that leads to everlasting life" was the best-selling book of all time besides the bible.

  if that's true, then whoever wrote the "truth" book is the second-best-selling author in the history of the world--second only to god!

  ray franz's books mention the authors of several society publications, but i don't believe he says who wrote the truth book.
