the international convention can now be attended by those who are only 19 and in good standing.. this is the third time the society has relaxed their requirements for those attending.
very unusual, i guess they could not fill the rooms.. oc
Hmmmm....I went to an international convention when I was 14 back in the mid 80s.
Since when did they have an age required on who can go to the international conventions???

I was thinking maybe a discussion of silly putty vs. slinkies: what is the perfect stocking stuffer? Would look really nice here.
does the wts have anything to say about circumcision?
is there an official doctrine?
The decision should be based on the father.
If the father is the one changing all the diapers, than yeah, sure why not.
Bit of a sexist statement I think?
By the way, I have known the circumsized, and the uncircumcized. None in either group suffered from any kind of foreskin related infection because they didn't know how to clean themselves. And trust me, these fellas' daddies weren't the kind of guys to spend time talking to their boys about how to go about cleaning their penis.

time to lock/kill this thread ain't it? We could be using this space for something more useful such as a discussion on why Americans are evil because we don't call soccer by its proper name, or because we just don't like veggemite or marmite?

Am I supposed to ring people up and read things out to save them the slightest effort whatsoever
K, I don't agree with Simon's view of America in general, but this statement I agree with...it amazing me how much people online in general (And no I am NOT just referring to Americans thank you very much) get their info from boards like these. Google people...its a beautiful thing...if you don't like Google may I suggest Yahoo, Altavista...etc...
at my little neighborhood grocery store, there is a bagger that's always there - mr. lamorris.
mr. lamorris is an elderly black man, tall, thin, with graying hair, and clothing that is always too big for his skinny frame.
but what's so sweet is his mouthful of gold teeth to match his ever present smile and positive attitude.
bet the cashier is nicer to you the next time you go in
kids!
there are some heartless predators in your neighborhood - and they're trying to get you.
hooked on their addictive 'junk'.
Bravo, sir...Bravo!!!

Eyebrow,It sounds to me that you either did not read my post or you are the one who does not listen to the news. Reread my post ! I said that we do not hear about how many other soldiers other than our own american soldiers who have died. My question was in reference to other soldiers across the globe involved in this war. As far as not seeing the news ? Hey mister, I listen to the news probably more than most because I am a news junkie. (Get a GRIP DUDE)
Just for the record...I am not a dude...but that is neither here nor there. I still don't agree with you. http://icasualties.org/oif/ Maybe they don't have google in your part of the internet? Also, perhaps it is the type of news some are listening too? If you don't get NPR on the radio and listen to the BBC or both with the many plethora of cable news, or bother with the internet...then maybe you would miss it. Consider the quality of the news you are watching if you have to ask the mod of the forum for that kind of info... but don't claim that info is available in the news to the general public in America...because it is.
