  Wow I didn't think this thread would have so many replies being sort of a sacred cow subject. Sure has been fun reading all your posts. I did take to heart what the poster said about how this would affect lurkers still in the religion. And I was referring to the God portrayed by the Watchtower. thanks, guys mrs flipper

  Nvr- Mr. & Mrs. Flipper love your posts . Love your takes on things. Wifey and I were talking the other day and said we sure see things in life a lot like him.   why are you staying in the organization and posting here at the same time?.

  do you really believe that you can help your families to reject the watchtower society while remaining an elder and visibly appearing to support their lies and false teachings?.

  Well, if I was in a concentration camp and had my escape tunnel finished, I would most likely wait until I could round up my loved ones. These guys are making quite a sacrifice and they are doing a lot of good by planting seeds and obtaining information. As for lying - if the Nazis came to your door asking if you know where your kids are, I hope you would lie and say no. mrs flipper

  i went to the grocery store today - no that's not your fault.. it's 103 degrees today, not bad.

  there were three people sitting in the shade in front of the grocery store.

  there was a middle aged woman, an older man in a wheelchair, and a thin man whose frozen smile screams "elder.

  Hortensia - That was great! You go girl! You never know, believe me down the road one of them might have a seed of doubt planted by you! If they don't doubt presently, they will think about it and maybe later, who knows? So cool of you to do that , you have my support and props. By the way, thanks for the compliment in your post. Like you and everybody here, you are right, we are all of us freedom fighters! I like that term you used. Maybe with all our voices together in our own areas we can reach some of these controlled people before it's too late! Peace to you Hortensia, great job!

  Jeff- My dad, an elder for 50 plus years studied our family geneology in the mid 1990's and found my side of the family came from Wales, England in the 1790's. Of course it was extremely dangerous for him to do that according to the mind control experts of the witnessdumb. I found it to be enjoyable to find out about relatives from over 200 years ago. I still have all the info. Oh, and hey, my Dad's still an elder! Guess it wasn't as important as the governing body made it out to be. If the governing body wants to think about what are really foolish questionings, then perhaps they should consider some of the asinine questions they ask members of their church at judicial committee meetings. Personal questions that you wouldn't even ask your pet dog or cat, for christ's sake! The more controlling these nutcases get, the more they try to squeeze people into their mold, we can only hope that some in the org. will get wise to it and leave eventually bringing down this harmful cult!   where do you go with your thought process when you have lived long enough and researched enough to come to the conclusion that jesus and the bible are a fraud?

  but having no vested interest but the search for truth and meaning in this life, and the availability of information in this day thats where i am.. i guess some of you are atheist, some are agnostic.

  agnostic is what i call myself today.. .

  Jaguarbass- Good question! I too am an agnostic, and I guess where I go for the meaning of life is in the little things I can find positive along the way and try to enjoy them as I go. A look and touch from my dear wife, a good relationship with my son sharing loving ,fun times, fishing, camping, the mountains, nature. Being out in the woods is one of the most spiritual experiences I know that draws me close to something in the sky or my reverance for whatever it is. I just look to making others happy and caring. Brings me happiness and contentment and helps others be positive. It's what my life is about
