in the watchtower article, they didn’t disclose the rest.

I agree with Steve's point- the idiocy of the WT Society comparing a CRIME and felony of child molestation where a person can serve prison time - on the same level with an alleged religious " sin " of homosexuality , immorality, or wife swapping - tells you all you need to know about how much WT Society leaders minimize the crime of child abuse. WT leaders need to have a lobotomy performed on their brains and throw their original brains into the garbage with yesterday's trash. Peace out, Mr. Flipper

just want to introduce myself and let you know that this site is working and is a big help to lots of jws with doubts.

i've been lurking for about a year, the first couple of times i was frightened and literally shaking visiting an apostate site but it's the only place i can come to for sanity.

the religion has become a nut house.

4 million $$$$ lawsuit upheld by the court. Great news. Multiply this by the thousands of child molesters still in the Jehovah's Witnesses organization who are hopefully being found out and WT being charged in lawsuits, in time WT Society will be leaking more financial oil in their wheels than they can afford- hopefully. Just goes to show WT Society is not above the laws of the land in spite of WT leaders own cockeyed opinions of themselves. Peace out, Mr. Flipper

My sister passed away this evening

it was only about two months ago she was diagnosed with lung cancer and she was a non smoker .. she was never a jw and she never held it against me that i was for 33 years.. we had a good relationship even though we lived in different states about 2000 miles apart,.. tears are rolling down my cheeks as i type this .

i remember when my faith left me.

i used to enjoy meetings and used to participate but then all of a sudden i was finding myself bored shitless at meetings.

i was taken off the theocratic ministry school for not attending when i was due to give a talk and not long after did something naughty and got disfellowshiped.

Indeed I do. When the elders called me into a back room falsely accusing me with committing immorality with a female worker who was seen in public having coffee with me at Starbucks on a break from work , after my split with my non-JW wife. Someone ratted me out to the elders from the congregation because I was seen having coffee with my worker at Starbucks. Elders asked me weird questions like " did you fondle her breasts ? " And " Did she touch your penis " ? Right out of the blue. Freaking weird.

Of course I told them " No. " I told them, " We'd never do that at the table. It would offend customers . We had the courtesy to go into the restroom ! " LOL.

Just joking. I didn't say that. The questions were so stupid- I FELT like saying that. But at that time I had only been back attending meetings for a year and a half after the 9-11 attacks after being out of the organization about 4 years . I thought to myself " Is this the way I deserve to be treated after paying all of my dues, where these elders are trying to drum up false charges against me that are obviously a crock of shit , after I suffered so much ostracism before while I was out ? " I decided that there was no such thing as " holy spirit " appointing elders and it was all BS designed to control us. So I left the back room meeting, went to my chair before the meeting at the kingdom hall, picked up my books and walked out the KH door forever, never going back. That was my awakening, my epiphany over 15 years ago. Finally freedom at last. Freedom of mind is sweet. Wish I had awakened earlier, but we awaken when we awaken. Peace out, Mr. Flipper

i have to say, having watched the leah remini episode on jehovah's witnesses, i found it to be incredibly powerful.. the shocking stories told by the panelists will reverberate around the world for years to come.

my heart goes out to these people and indeed everyone who has suffered because of watchtowers cruel and flawed policies.

leah remini is a brave and courageous woman to take on these high control groups and expose them for what they truly are.

Yes indeed , it was an excellent show. Well done and the EX-JW's on it sharing their stories were very sincere, honest, respectful , and dignified. They helped dismiss the illusion that JW's have of EX-JW's that " apostates " are crazy or delusional. These EX-JW's made a hell of a lot more sense than most still in JW's ever will.
