  have found out from reliable source that the object of our hatred at the mo( and still very deserving of our loathing though he may be) was actually disfellowshiped years ago, am still working on the exact details but will share them as soon as i get them guys.will try and get the date of his disfellowshiping etc n let you know.

  My take on this "news" about him already being disfellowshipped at the time... is that if all the news agencies WORLDWIDE are wrong, then this is going to be a very rich man... or else the WTBTS will sue the news agencies.

  However...

  I find it "odd" that you are able to find and provide this information, yet the courts and world press were not.

  Would you like to either state your source or post some tangible facts that we can corroborate ?

  Believe it or not, not much on the "END IS NEAR" business. More like, Jehovah wants you to do this and that and thre're the only ones who know and that they are THEE orgainzation of true love amoungst themselves. Which would prove to all they are the chosen ones.

  Less of the "fire and brimstone" approach. That fits with the convention talks this year about how the door-to-door talk shouldn't always be about Armageddon... ...It should be more about "preaching the Kingdom" !

  Indeed. The ex-JW world is weirder that anyone thought... Who'd have thought it would be so popular ? And as it seems to have digressed onto Yorkshire puddings... I like these yorkshire puddings that cover your whole plate !

  i would really appreciate it if someone could post high quality scans of the qfrs (i think it was) from wt of january and may this year.

  what i'm after is the one about resurrection (to heaven) of some of the 24 elders and how they are working with the gb on earth today (if i remember correctly).

  and the one from may, where they changed the 144000 / 1935 doctrine (if i remember that correctly).. thanks in advance..

  You seem to be the go-to-guy when it comes to scans. Thank you very much (I hope they will be of use to others as well, of course).

  My mom used to 'feed' me the latest Watchtower/Awake! whenever I payed them a visit after I had started fading, but she suddenly stopped.

  So now I have to "resort" to this.

  Awakened07 - Don't let Atlantis hear you saying that . What with the the QFR saying that the anointed are "nothing special" and the Jan 1st article saying that the GB get their guidance from the dead... it makes you wonder what they have up their sleeve next ! Carla If I were you, I'd save these to your hard-drive now. I won't take them down unless requested, but the hosting company may do if they remain undownloaded after a month or so.
