Change the past (Short Story)

Can someone explain to me in layman's terms about book of Daniel?

....and ESP. Dan 2:44 ("And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite.")
For the longest time, this scripture (and Daniel's whole dream) has been a huge reason I was a Witness, but, again, I never delved deep into explaining it to myself (w/o the Daniel book we studied in bookstudy). Maybe I'm reading it through Witness eyes, but could someone explain to me how the Society is wrong about the whole Daniel dream thing? (in an easy-to-understand way!) Thanks. :)

by themonster123 ini saw the movie "300" last night-i just got to thinking- because in that movie, xerxes, the king of persia is part of the story.
and from my bible reading in the past, i know xerxes was mentioned.....and other historical people who were actual people....stuff like noah's ark is easily discredited, but do you think everything in the bible never happened or some did?
is it possible some stuff happened and some stuff didn't?.

Co-worker thinks I'm going back.

(let's just call them "worldly" cuz we all know what that means)....could NEVER understand what it's like to be a Witness and the mind control that follows....They just would never get it. That guy at your work will never get it-don't expect him to. But aren't you glad you have JWD??? I know I am. We got ya girl.

my field trip to Bethel
by themonster123 ina few years ago, when i was an active witness, i went all the way from california to the east coast for vacation to visit my witness friend.
her family took me to bethel (one of the many things we did)...seriously, what was the big deal i've been hearing about my whole life how ," oh bethel is so great!
" when i finally saw it when i was 18, it was like walking through a building with a bunch of walls with pictures of paradise on the walls and watching random people do printing press stuff.

Her family took me to Bethel (one of the many things we did)...Seriously, WHAT WAS THE BIG DEAL I'VE BEEN HEARING ABOUT MY WHOLE LIFE HOW ," Oh BEthel is so great! You have to see it!" When I finally saw it when I was 18, it was like walking through a building with a bunch of walls with pictures of Paradise on the walls and watching random people do printing press stuff.
IT WAS booooo-ring! It was no spiritual mecca, just a bunch of printing stuff!!! When I got back from my vacation and I woudl tell people about my vacation, My highlight was seeign Conan O'brien live, NOT BEthel, but when I would tell them about BEthel, they would get this warm fuzzy glow like "Oooooo you got to see Bethel?" It's like the same thing as when after a SUnday talk, everyone goes "THat was SUCH a good talk." Welll, poele my whole life have been going "Bethel is SO amazing." Whatever.. I call that all "witnesspeak."
