Newb Introduction....
by KenseiShimonzu ini'd like to formally introduce myself to everyone here,as the title,and my post count reflects...i'm new around here although i think i may have stumbled across the site sometime before i decided to stop going down there at all,because it looks very familiar,i could have sworn i read an article about jw's real involvement in the holocaust on here at some time.
i've seen some very interesting topics hereabouts,as well as point of views,just wish i would have found you guys sooner so that i could have avoided that whole "thing" down there.
but anyways,this is my formal "hello" to everyone,and hope we can be friends.

The Santa Lie

therefore, it could be argued that adults who believe in god are no different than these children who believe in something that's not reality.
these believing adults just haven't realized the truth yet.

How Would You Feel?

i realize that this has already happened to some of you, but it is a new experience for me.
a mutual friend put me in touch with old jw friends and family from my former congregation who have exited the organization.

I would be overjoyed!! It would be great to have relationships again with some of my closest old friends. I love the friends I have now, but to actually have friendships again with those you grew up with and shared so much history with would be awesome!!!

A Welcome For All the Newbies ! You Have Great Thoughts-Keep em' coming
by flipper ini don't know about the rest of you more seasoned posters here, but i believe jwd is really becoming a welcoming haven for people leaving the jehovah's witnesses , and we are really seeing some great quality posters among newbies coming on the board.

There have been some that have been judgemental and took fast to assume that some new posters on here are "trolls". It's sad, because we all have been at one time, or even some that still are, JW's that need support and help on issues. Just keep positive and keep posting. I hope you will all find the help and assistance that you need.

Tomorrow is my last day....
by LouBelle infrom about 10 am (south african time) tomorrow - i won't be on the forum....for 2 weeks, i am going to miss this place!!!!
there have been some fantastic topics, getting to know a few on here a little better.
if i get to me mums' laptop i may pop in for a post or two.. i don't have a pee cee at home (i have refused to buy one because i'd sit on it 24/7).. so to all who do the vigil - i will be with you each tuesday praying for strength and wellness for each of you.. i wish you all an excellent christmas and new year - have an absolute blast..
