Never Believed in the Resurrection Hope - Nor the Witnesses Crazy Ideas
by flipper ini will list a number of my doubts on this subject as it was one teaching that pissed me off - as i feel it caused jehovah's witnesses not to mourn properly at funerals and show authentic compassion to others - as well as held out false hope for a " fantasyland " paradise .
these reasons i list here actually were and are taught by jehovah's witnesses as fact !
listen to how bizarre this sounds.

Question, would you like to believe in it? If so, why?

thinking vs. feeling.. must we choose just one ?
by caliber inthinkingthinkers decide based primarily on logic, and when they do so, they consider a decision to be made.
they tend to see the world in black and white and dislike fuzziness.
feelingfeelers decide based primarily through social considerations, listening to their heart and considering the feelings of others.

Hmmmm, thinking or feeling? How about both? No, you don't have to choose one. I think of golf and I feel it !

Annoying trend in TV commercials...
by Gregor inhave you noticed how it seems that the tactic of making commercials deliberately annoying is becoming popular?
i'm sure you can think of a commercial or two that quickly becomes like fingernails on a chalkboard.
that is why they are produced and repeated over and over, they accomplish the purpose of getting your attention and causing you to remember them.

I wonder if there is a way to register to vote without anybody knowing.
by easyreader1970 inafter i have mentally fallen away from the wbts, i no longer feel that waiting for some sky god to do something is an appropriate response to dissatisfaction.
but since i am still in the organization in body, i can't really do anything openly.
i was in the library yesterday and i was tempted to register to vote but i am not sure if it can be done in a way that my wife could never find out.

Your in the best position to understand your circumstance. Has voting really changed anything? In my community, nothing has changed for the past 5 decades. I remember the days when the town meetings was flooded with community members, it was standing room only. This pass month's community meeting, it had only 12 people in attendence. In short, nothing has changed. Yes, I have voted. Did it bother my conscience,no. Will I vote next summer, I doubt it. The corruption within the system is staggering. My fleshly brother was once a mayor and he was just used. Today, he has an empty life. He was never a witness.
Think twice before casting your vote. Will it really make a difference?

Tuesday Sept 2, 2008 I had a fine labor-day week-end,I hope you did too. Upon my return, I clicked into my computer and went dead. I returned the machine for the second time and I'll have to await another 15 days before I received it, supposedly fixed. I'm using my son's machinery for now. Upon my return, I noticed two posts dealing with the WTC. I will make a short reply because I have other things to take care of.
Big-Tex, As I said, this topic is down my alley, and in NO WAY I'm I backing down. I'm more than willing to read other material such as you presented, and I encourage others to do the same thing, why? So they can get the full picture and they will decided for themselves which view to accept. To read government funded reports and base your conclusion on their reports should make independent thinkers to think twice about these funded reports.
Apparently you didn't read David Ray Griffin's comments. The link once again is (http://review.com/articles/griffin/nyc1.html_ I'm going through this material once again along with Steven Jones material. (http://physics911.net/stevenjones)
There are a number of points that make Mr. Griffin's presentation very interersting, one is, how did did Mayor Giuliani know in advance the colllapse of building 7? How is it that this buikding collapse without an airplane crashing into it? Why is it that only these three buildings (in history) came down by fire when NO other building collpased in a fire, NEVER!
Another point, why was the oral history of witnesses have to take a court order to be released? It was partially released in 2005. At least 500 witnesses give their account of the tragedy and it was kept under lock and key. Enough said for now.

I cannot "unprove" every single wild-side 911 theory...
by james_woods inhere is what i received this morning from an enthusiast.... james-woods, do you remember leoleoia (wrong spelling) whom you supported vehemently on this subject?
i've been waiting for her comments, and, still waiting.
as for you, you've taken the course of least resistance, you decided to ignore me and not address the issue.

Let me be up-front about this matter. It was I, Golf, who sent james-woods this letter in his PRIVATE box! I sent this letter yesterday morning. J-W makes sound as though I sent it this morning, no such thing. As I've said, this topic is done my alley. My stating being a high-steel worker for 4 decades was not to impress anyone. You fellows don't have a clue what this occupation is all about. I wasn't going to sit back and take the crap that a plane alone and it's crash brought down the wtc. This has been my bone of contention from the beginning and it's still is!
All I'm asking is, give me independent experts that support your claim, not government FUNDED groups. Thanks JW for sharing my mail, remind me to send you another letter. -
