  most jws i knew had some unexplainable ailment or 2. and a number suffered from depression!!

  I've been familiar with this material for some years now. It takes a great of time and patience to follow up on this material. This is nothing new to me.   I'm not a fan of Angelina, it was the STORY that caught my interest. I only learned at the end of the film that it was Eastwood who directed the movie. I've done some plays as a youngster even concocted plays in school. In my opinion, it was worth the time and money. As the saying goes, "to each his own."

  today is a proud day for me.

  i became part of my fellow citizens in this country by casting my vote.

  it was a thrilling experience (more like a disney ride really, since the line wasn't that long).

  Why? Was it the position of being an elder that made you more intelligent than the congregation?
  
  
  I've been around since the late forties. In those days, we didn't have the info about the org. as we have today. Had you been living in those days (much different than today} they PREACHED that the end was near, it was commonly accepted. The date 1975 date NEVER caught my inner feelings and thoughts about the end. I base my understanding in what the scripture saying,
  "...no man man knows the day and hour". I believe in what the scriptures say that there is going to be a resurrection of BOTH the righteous and UNRIGHTEOUS. God or Jehovah ( say what you say about him may being cruel, but to what end and to whom? What makes US so much righteous than others?
