It does not hurt to keep circulating these clips/videos from time to time so that newbies have the opportunities to see them .for what they are , a sect , a cult ,a religion that destroys family relationships with there shunning practice.
.Unlike Watchtower predictions , these clips /videos , never become" old truths" that are discarded , for" new truths" , that will be discarded in the near future .

been catching up on some jw reading and found a gem in the november study wt in the first article, paragraph #11:.

if you discern that the ministry could be more interesting or more rewarding for your children, set goals with them.
I am ashamed I put my two boys through this torture , they dreaded calling on the doors of there school mates , thankfully I wasn`t so strict that they had to go every weekend .And yes , they were born ins.
We lived on a penninsular with 2 congregations , so the territory was limited .
That kid in the picture will be on here in 10 years time telling us how he really felt.

how far / deep was your research on the origins of the bible or religions or most importantly the concepts (heaven -gods - immortality-etc)today many millions of people believe as the truth?.
why did these concepts existed ?.
why so many people today still believe in these concepts ?.
I would think that born ins just accept the religion they were born into trusting there parents decision and thereby just accepting everything JW`s said ..
Converts like myself as a late teenager, it depended on my upbringing in a Christian nation , who was taught from an early age that the Bible was the word of God , and just accepted it as fact , JW`s came along and the rest was history .Who knows what the outcome would have been if the Mormons had knocked on my door , or the S.D.A.`s in my vulnerable state at that time and explained there interpretation of the Bible.
I could be wrong , but I don`t think the average person would seek out alternative options when first encountering the beliefs of the JW`s. especially if they have a firm conviction in the first place that the Bible is the word of God.
The deeper search only comes after you begin to see , that things don`t add up ,cracks start to appear in your faith , you begin to see the hypocricy and even deceptions about there own history.etc.

i've been out a while and have only put in a rare appearance at a memorial or brief visit at a convention/assembly to keep people off my back, so i haven't kept up on the songbook.
but one thing i've noticed that the org.
has been doing that they never did when i was in is all these "supplemental songs" that keep appearing.
I have been out for over twenty years and my memory of some of the songs that we had to sing were atrocious , the melody , the wording , it was embarrassing for us as JW`s to sing let alone for any newcomer to the hall that had to endure it , the plus is NC having heard that they never came back.

i see some members , who have been on this board for many ,many years , who very seldom posted a topic for discussion..i would like to encourage everyone in this situation to re-think there reasons for not starting a subject for discussion.. sometimes after the event , i have thought to myself why did you start that topic ,stupid, however on reading the replies to that said topic , i have learnt a helluva lot more in having done so .in other words i learn a great deal more from the feedback i get from you guys than the question or statement i post.. you might think your question or statement is irrelevant , however to somebody else on this board it may just be the thing they are looking for to help them get through some issue of there own .. so please don`t hold back from posting a subject dear to your heart , or anywhere else .. just saying .
