  My RC hearing brought forward. Will be in two weeks

  through this forum of wonderful freaks, i have met someone who is coming with me to my hearing.

  initially i was slated for next year, but will be attending in two weeks time.

  all is in place from travel vouchers, support, where to go ............very efficient and well done.

  What made you turn atheist or agnostic?

  if you were a jw and are now an atheist or agnostic, what was the tipping point that made you turn to it?.

  the reason i ask is i have noticed that many who leave the jw's seem to turn to atheism, versus still having some form of a faith.

  have many of you given up on god first or have you had atheistic views first and then found atheism to be true.

  When I came to realize the Witnesses were not the truth , then I started to question the Bible that they based their beliefs on with a critical eye and found that also to be untrue .

  The input of ever so many on this board leading me to so much more information on the subject of God and faith did it for me , believers & non believers alike .

  Thank you everyone , an Atheist who stands in awe of the Universe and the diversity of life on this planet who firmly believes one day it will be discovered elsewhere .The odds are in my favour .

  The average JW~s of today , do not care what was taught more than 5 years ago , it is all old light , they are only interested in what is currently taught today , if that .

  There are no Biblical scholars among them anywhere in the world today

  They simply discard there errors as if they never made them ,

  There is not an honest bone in any of the Governing Body Members , shame on them.
