  The JW org is a failed doomsday cult?

  by its own mandate in the founding of the watchtower magazine in 1879, it was set up to proclaim the arrival of jc in the heavens according to the then currently failed adventist claim for jesus' return the year 1874.. russell's catalyst for all that came afterwards was his pet claim (in so many words) "aha but jc did in fact come... but came invisibly!

  " he added without sound evidence that it took four years for jc to come to rule from the heavens after his arrival there and that then was said to be in 1878. .

  within forty biblical years from the arrival date, russell promised, with hopes even higher than his bank account, that god’s kingdom with christ at the helm would rule the earth in the absence of all worldly opposition.

  I often wonder how many of those parents of "Youths Who Put God First" woke up to the fact that these poor misguided people , children and parents , actually didn`t put GOD first , they put the Organization of Jehovah`s Witnesses first and died needlessly .

  And if that is not the ultimate abuse of children , then I don`t know what is.

  That fact alone should prove JW.ORG. is a failed doomsday cult.

  What is it about Governments that they are so scared/ reluctant to bring the crimes of religious organizations to justice.

  Any surviving parents of these or any other children who died in similar circumstances should band together and take out a class action writ against the Jehovah`s Witnesses /WTB&TS and claim damages .

  Stupid memorial obsessions

  all the different congregations around the world hold it at similar local times but they all effectively are at different times relative to each other ... so why does the time matter?.

  why the almost superstitious "oh, it must be after sundown".

  cause it's not sundown everywhere that second.. god knew the earth was round ... right?.

  Terrorist attack in Belgium

  check the news.

  there was a terrorist attack in brussells, couple of bombs detonated in the brussell airport and the metro.. 36 dead so far.. i send my sincerest condolences to the people of belgium.. the motive seems to be revenge for the capture of the last surviving member of the paris terrorist attacks..

  Isis , I.S. , Daesh , whatever they call themselves needs to be eradicated from the earth ,and the only way that is going to happen is by foot soldiers on the ground , otherwise this will go on for decades .

  A tit for tat scenario , is that an option for Democratic nations to accept ?

  It is not only the Western nations / Europeans , that have to make up this force it must include Middle Eastern nations as well .

  If Islam nations are reluctant to participate , we will all have to wonder why.? And sanctions then should be imposed upon them .

  Oh that`s right we rely on the M.E. for our oil supplies don`t we .Then maybe the west needs to threaten to take over those oil fields unless the Middle East steps up to the mark.

  How much longer are we going to tolerate these attacks on innocent people going about their normal day to day business around the world ?

  It is now time Terrorists must feel the terror of the free world.

  an elder came over for a visit the other night (he couldn't get a partner) personally i consider him a friend and have revieiled many things to him an figured the tie has come to step out of this religion slowly.. well i finally told him i have no believe in the bible (other then the confirmed history in it) or god.

  i did it slowly and tactfully and even non-agressive.. his response to learning i believe in evolution was that evolution doesn't happen now i respectfully disagreed and pointed out lactose and alcohol tolerance among the last thousand years as well as tibetian lung/hearts.

  he refused to believe it.

  Money....

  i believe all our worst nightmare are believing money will make our life's complete.

  i am not talking about money providing life's comforts, but i am mortified that contentment and happiness always requires " more money"..ummm i need a window cleaner, a flashy car and a 50inch t.v screen to be happy.

  money...well in my opinion we need money integrity to be happy, but it seems such a waste of life to search for the making of money more than ....well what i mean "hey" most of us have more money than most, and would the making or having more money really make you happier?.

  To have more money than I could possibly spend in my lifetime , to see how I would handle it , and whether it would change me in any way

  If I don`t have more wealth than I could ever use , how will I truly know what kind of person I could/would be.?

  i do not have any intentions of going, even if i was invited.

  Just curious Truth and Justice ,

  Would you consider going to a Catholic or Protestant church to celebrate the Memorial to J.C.as you are obviously a believer in the scriptures ?

  Where , if I`m not mistaken , you would /could be a participant and not just an observer.

  seriously, in this day and age, there has to be a way to find someone you lost contact with.

  i know, facebook...but i'm having no luck there.

  If you have an idea where they live you can refer to the telephone directory and if they are listed BINGO.

  I have found some old acquaintances that way., not that it was very productive mind you.

  Another way is to look up the Electoral roll , witnesses may not vote however it is law to be on the roll.

  These are public records for anyone to view .

  Jehovah`s Witnesses are passionate about politics too , and they are also Monarchists .

  No they don`t accept Democracy , Communism ,Totalitarianism ,Fascism .etc.etc.

  However they do believe in a Theocracy , a Government by GOD ,and a Monarchy with JESUS as King .

  So in my view they are as political as the next man or woman.

  And they will die upholding those beliefs .
