  two weeks ago while visiting a friend in north carolina, i agreed to go with him to the sunday public talk.

  the public talk was about how the witnesses have the direction of angels while going in service.

  the speaker told some real doozies and you could hear the "oohs and ahhs" from the audience.

  Why ex-JW's so knowledgeable when it comes to the Bible?

  over the years here on this site i have found over half of the folks can hold their own with any minister.. why when we leave the borg we become proficient on any subject on the bible.. why did we go down that road?

  my intention was to get close to jehovah (searching the bible), but i. guess i found lucifer.

  i'am ask all the time, how did you go from a true believer to calling the bible a book.

  I couldn`t agree more with the above posts. to come to the realisation you have been hoodwinked / decieved , by the WTB&TS , then you want to know how you could have been so duped , and then you investigate much more fully the source of your belief , the Bible .

  And you realise the whole thing is a load of CROCK / BS .

  And you wonder shaking your head how you could have ever believed it in the first place.

  Why do so many JW's argue that they do not believe what they clearly do?

  i ask a question recently, which was why do jw's not salute the flag, and i ask what page of the bible directs this practice.. all i got back was that i do not know what i am talking about and that they are allowed to do this, when i dropped 40000 google links proving that they do not salute the flag they just deleted it as though my proof could not exist.

  seriously this is common knowledge, my neighbor just put up a flag to keep the guy across the street away.

  so are there jw's who have no clue what they believe, or should believe?

  Jehovah`s Witnesses do not know in a nutshell what they believe today .

  I doubt very much if the average Jehovah`s Witness today knows what they believed in Charles Taze Russells day , Rutherfords day , or Knorrs day ,let alone Freddie Franz`s day

  And most of them are clueless as to what they should be teaching today , am I keeping up with Jehovah`s chariot ? , it keeps changing so often.

  The average Jehovah`s Witness is so very ignorant of their own historical beginings 102 years ago.

  Any regrets whilst you were in the Org

  the biggest regret i have is of 'shunning' persons who were disfellowshipped and for 'marking' ones deemed as bad association.. there's no way i can approach these people to ask them for forgiveness as i've emigrated to another country however, by this post i'd like it to be known..

  When i was in my late teens early 20`s I joined a judo club , prior to my becoming involved with the witnesses .

  I was involved with this club for about a year and thouroughly enjoyed my participation in the club.

  Of course , it became a no no to continue on with my activities if I wanted to progress in the "truth"

  I coulda been a contender !

  Forgive me for being cautious about what is presented here as being up and above board.

  Don`t take offence , you may have be taken advantage of , if it is genuine accept ,my apologies for being a skeptic.

  Having been sucked in by the WTB&TS for over 33 years , you may appreciate my skeptism. , without validation from other sources.

  And if it is correct and true as the video portrays then all potential Bible studys should view this video.
