JWs Excited Trump Won

i am incredibly disturbed.

many of the jws i'm still friends with on facebook are incredibly excited that trump won the american presidential race, posting, "yay!

i'm so happy!

Thinking back on this post ,reflection on it , what is the average IQ of jehovahs Witnesses ? , they have been against higher education for God knows how long ? They have been saying the Great Tribulation /Armageddon is just around the corner for over 100 years they have made prophecys that have not eventuated such.....

as " Millions now living Will never Die", ," What will the 1970`s bring" .".1914 the generation That will Not Pass Away"

And the founder of IBSA/Jehovahs Witnesses Charles Taze Russell , that 1914 would be the End of the World as we know it,

So modern day JW`s are now saying Donald Trump is their new hero to bring about mass destruction to the bulk of humanity ?

To fullfill Jehovahs prophecys ? Are you seeing this GB ?

Proverbs 4:18 "light gets brighter"

we are all familiar with the classic use by the society of proverbs 4:18 about "light getting brighter".

they say it applies to revealed truth, and doctrinal changes etc.. have you ever just read that chapter (and even the surrounding chapters) in full??.

it has nothing to do with doctrinal changes or teachings.. it has to do with acquiring wisdom and life skills in order to live a successful life.

or then again

Does the Bible mean what the interpreters say it means ?

or

Does the Bible say what the interpreters mean what it says ?

Any wonder that the Bible is likened to a musical instrument , you can play any tune on.

I went to an assembly once sporting a well groomed beard , and I over- heard a couple of witness kids discussing my beard ,one said to the other "he must be a newly interested person "

It wasnt long after when the pressure came to bear to shave it off.

I havent shaved it off in the past 20+ years .

Some people die with their boots on

recently, my mother's been hounding me to do personal study (i think she's slowly realizing i'm becoming disillusioned with the organization and is trying to reign me back in).

i don't know what made me do this, but i decided to test the waters by challenging 'new light'.

she asked me what i learned in personal study, so i brought up organ transplants and the wt flip floppy stance on them (thanks jwfacts!).

Welcome to the forum Sorry , It`s not just your mom ,also your father and sister who are blindsided by JW doctrine ,I feel for you Bro, it must be hard when they bury their head in the sand and cant see reason.

However you need to keep your sanity about all this , you cant change them with reason or logic , they have to come to this realisation in their own time,

You can just drop little gems of "truth" now and them for them to ponder over , and I say again , you cant change them ,so dont bang your head against a wall

Its a slow process waking someone up to the TTATT

has anyone found any religion that makes more sense than the watchtower organization?

obviously catholics make even less sense than them so don't say that.... the reason i ask is because i still believe the bible is the word of god, but just that the jw's have twisted it for their own benefit, as most religions seem to do....

really, wtf!.

the polls were wrong and although it's tempting to blame voter suppression and fbi interference, that would just avoid looking at the real issues for the loss.

in the event that one of the spouses is being psychologically mistreated in a very serious manner where his health is severely damaged and even his own life is in danger.

is there a biblical basis for jehovah's witnesses for separation or divorce?.

Why have so many JW`s divorced their spouse because of one or the other no longer wanting to be known as a Jehovahs Witness , or who has now become an outspoken person against the Jehovahs Witness teachings,

Is this just another example of the JW`s going beyond the things written in scripture ?

I Think I have Found a Way to Litigate

i have been thinking about how the wtb&t society bullies all of its members into submission with the threats they use (by practice), i.e.

“if you do this we will df you and you will be shunned”.

“if you da yourself, we will make an announcement and your friends, relatives and family will abandon you”, etc.

Nathan Natas hit the nail on the head .Jehovahs Witnesses are not employees of the WTB&TS ,they are nothing more than volunteers who choose of their own violition to follow suggestions made by the organization .

The rank and file Jehovahs Witness does not represent the Organization of the WTB&TS .or its affilliates.

How many of the rank & file do you think understand that fact ?

Nobody in the organization forces anyone to comply with their directions , you do so voluntarily .

I know , and you know , they use emotional blackmail against the rank & file JW`s , but that is a lot harder to prove in a court of law.

The r&f member doesnt have to abide by that pressure , they can choose not to ,they are responsible for their own actions and nobody else.
