  I will only believe in demons if...

  jws are known to have an obsession and preoccupation with demons.. this obsession and preoccupation is not without merit given that jesus, his disciples/apostles, and the general public of 1st century ce judea and galilee are reported as believing in the existence of demonic spirits and in the possibility of demon possession of an individual.. exorcism formed a large part of jesus' ministry on earth.

  the gospels and the book of acts describe many exorcisms where jesus and his disciples release people from demonic possession.. ___ .

  but how do demons get inside a person's brain or body?

  The Old Testament covers about 4000 years of human history .How often is demon posession of humans covered their ? How many exorcisms were performed by the Priests ?

  Why is their so much about demons and demon posession in the New Testament and it only covers approximately 100 years and very little in the Old Testament ?

  Just wondering.

  my support is with the marchers in washington and around the country today.

  i was raised through my formative years by my mother and sister while my father was out of the picture.

  they gave me the compassion i have today.

  LisaRose , I was going by the knoweledge that about 40% of americans failed to vote and I assumed rightly or wrongly that a good number of these would be the ones protesting. it was just my call.

  I just wonder why a duly elected president by the system that has been in place and served the american people all these years is now something to be protested against because you dont like the result

  Why does God allow animals to suffer? Does God care about animals? What does the Watchtower teach about this?

  the following article will address these questions, and attempt to answer them.. after helping jwfacts with his page on animal suffering, i decided to write this article.. it is mainly aimed at helping jehovahs witnesses and other believers in god to think about the issue, as well as the apparent contradictions in watchtower teaching.. thanks must go to jwfacts for the encouragement, and giving me permission to use an image from his page and to use some of the quotes.. also, thankyou to cofty for general moral support.. please let me know what you think everybody, and feel free to reproduce any part or all of the article on any other website, just post and let me know that you've used it on your site please..   Sea creatures have always survived eating other sea creatures long before Adam ,Eve and sin entered into the world.

  Alll land animals were destroyed in the flood except what was preserved in the Ark.

  The multitudes of life that existed in the oceans were never destroyed during the flood .They were not condemned.

  What did God have against land animals that he wiped all of them out bar Ark survivors and never took any action against sea creatures ?

  I hate to see animals suffer for any reason,I was devastated when I had to put my toy poodle dog of 16.5 years down as I was of putting my cat of about 15 years down ,I cried and was heartbroken over these deaths.

  Why do they suffer cancer arthritis brain tumours etc.etc IF their was a God.

  And for that matter why was Abels sacrifice more acceptable to God than Cains because Abel slaughtered an animal , in my mind Cains sacrifice was more acceptable because it was the fruit of his labour.a grain offering.

  it seems like mobilizing after the election, which seems pointless.

  i keep hearing demands for equal rights but don't understand what rights they are missing exactly.. normally a march is to show the support (and potential votes) for a cause, but ... votes for what?

  ... and the election happened already.. is anyone else confused?

  I`ll bet the majority of all those women and men taking part in all these protests in the USA never took the time or effort to vote at the election .

  Grow up and accept the umpires decision you can always vote him out at the next election.

  Trump was a democratically elected President of the people and the system that has served America so well before.

  Apparently the protesters are not happy with democracy

  Just my 2 cents worth.

  I just wonder how many of these women and men joining these protest marches around the USA against Trump bothered to even vote. My guess would be not many.

  Had they bothered to take the time and effort to vote Trump may not be President today

  It seems they only accept the democratic process when its in their favour

  There is some pretty incredible people out there in the "world"

  i am a fan of a video came called simcity and other building games like cities skylines and the such also legend of grimrock.

  anyway, as i watch others plays these games on youtube i have noticed that there are some pretty intelligent people out there.

  how others can solve the puzzles way better than i can on legend of grimrock and how they can build cities in ways that i had not thought of at all.

  Actually the actor ,the musician ,sportsman ,athelete who professes to be a JW and makes it to the top of their profession actually goes against the policy of the religion they profess to belong to.

  Do we ever hear of the G,B.distancing themselves from such persons ? No never.

  Are they ever sanctioned from making known they are JW`s or associated with JW`s I dont believe so.They want the publicity.

  The r&f members are counselled even sanctioned about making a name for oneself or setting oneself up as an Idol or competing with anyone ,yet if anyone does achieve that position the rules seem to change and nothing is done about it or to the persons involved.

  The Williams sisters are worth Millions of $$$$$

  George Benson must be worth a quid or two. Prince certainly was......$$$$$$

  The Governing Body of JW`s by now are worth Billions of $$$$ via Real Estate , Investments ,Stocks ,and off shore accounts in Tax free havens.Not to mention contributions ,Wills left to them ,sales from publications ,Tax evasions due to their dubious charitable status in various countrys,Etc.Etc ,

  I`m sure their are a few more I have left out that they are raking in millions $$$$ from.

  Not to mention getting volunteer labour to build KH`s and then selling them off for a profit after a few years ,waiving loans to KH`s and then conning them in to giving that same amount back indefinetly .

  LTPF , you may not agree but I think that equates to being "smart" in this world as far as making money is concerned .

  is it just me who doesnt see the point of this ?

  from time to time we see some individual who takes up page after page arguing his or her point of view and it usually ends up with only 2 or 3 individuals who keep the talkfest going with a particular individual and nobodys getting anything out of it .. why bother ?

  why get sucked in to such a pointless dialogue ?

  Why bother ? Why get sucked in to such a pointless dialogue ? 120 pages , 150 pages or whatever 2 or 3 people going over and over the same claptrap as they have from page 1 , I dont get it !

  Is it just me ? who doesnt get it ?

  Especially when its an obvious apologist who is violating his/her own religions counsel to even be on here.
