Could these guys that served in the military just been fringe dwellers ones that have been brought up in the "truth" not really abiding by it but still refer to themselves as JW`s.? I believe their are many that fit that catergory .

by snare&racket ini work with a nurse who served for 2 years in the army of cyprus as is compulsory in that country.
i happened to ask about jw's and their consequential punishment for not doing it.
he laughed and stated that since 2009 they have to do it and that he personally knew several that 'served.

Wouldnt you think the Angels who remained loyal to GOD and not followed Satan in his rebellion would be a little pissed off that instead of choosing them to be ( Kings) priests with the enthroned Christ Jesus he chose 144000 imperfect humans who have only lived for the most part less than 100 years whereas they would have lived for God knows how long and experienced so much observing humans since creation ?

i was disfellowshipped in 1993 aged 21 and the worldly girl i met, got pregnant and married (in that order) is mother to my 3 grown children and grandmother to our beautiful baby granddaughter.

Is he not up for the job? What imperfect leader of any Nation in the world has ever needed so many hangers on ?
The WT excuse from years ago said something to the effect that the 144000 being human would more understand the needs and concerns of those on earth ? Jesus living as a human for 33 years wouldnt ?
So these 144000 are going to rule with Jesus Christ as Kings and priests for a thousand years Rev.20:6
So are we to understand that the 4000 years of Jehovah God dealing with his people the Israelites was a failure ?
(maybe because he didnt have 144000 humans to help him ?)

Not very zealous as before
by anointed1 inwhat i sense from the conversations of my family members and relatives who are jws is that at least some jws are not as zealous before with regard to the major subjects such as “sanctification of god’s name,” “vindication of his sovereignty” etc.
they begin to feel that such subjects are imaginary issues.. this is a good sign.
it shows people are worried about their own day-to-day worries.
