Are you ready for it ? And you wouldnt have the expense of travelling far either.

Spend the next ten days in your local library from opening to closing times .

following is a summary of events leading up to my decision to disassociate from jehovah's witnesses and the unforeseen results of that decision.. a young man named joel engardio produced a documentary about jehovah's witnesses called "knocking" which aired nationally on pbs.

i purchased the dvd from joel before it was even released and we exchanged emails.

joel had been raised by his jw mother and had been active in jw activities during his adolescence, but he was never baptized as a jw.

Many people JW`s included who will believe what they want to believe regardless of the evidence that goes against it.They will rationalise and justify their position because it is what they want regardless of any argument against it.

Its self gratification to do your thing regardless of what anybody else thinks or knows.

Bible scriptures are only good if they serve my purpose.

Jw`s are experts taught by the GB to pick and choose (cherry picking ) scriptures to suit their purpose or agenda.

Its your wife i`m referring to here Roger.

Thanks for your story Roger, a story that has ended well for you despite not knowing the end outcome.

(Not so) Subliminal Shave Your Beard Message

i'm in the middle of dissecting the june 2017 jw broadcasting video.. in the first minute, they summarize a story about a guy who apparently was a one-time bad ass (showed a picture of him with a beard while posing on a chopper).

then, they show him shaving at the exact same moment the narrator is saying how he regained "a clean conscience".. this no-beard obsession by the jws is beyond nuts.. .

The next thing you know the JW police will be wanting to know if you have or are shaving your pubic hair .

Jehovahs christian Witnesses cant be like the world in general or christendoms religions so off with your pubic hairs.

We have to be different Jehovah wants it that way.

what is the big deal when you say "good luck with that" or he just had bad luck?

i have never been a jw, but what is the problem with saying these things?

my husband was so mad, he went to bed and would not talk to me.

Their is a scripture somewhere that says something like not putting one`s trust in the God of good luck that the JW`s can pull out of thin air. ( if i remember correctly)

However they had no problem with saying you had good fortune if something went your way.or that was unfortunate if things didnt go so well your way .

Jehovahs Witnesses are very superstitious people.especially where the Bible is concerned..

Not that it is any business of mine or anybody else`s ,though I wonder how he, a JW is married to a non JW ,if you dont mind my asking ? Because that is discouraged amongst JW`s.LOL ( no offence intended)

hey!

long time since i have been here.

lots and lots of new posters.

I`m more interested if anybody can show a 78 years old man how to make a a couple of hundred thousand in the shortest time possible.

As you can see I`m not greedy I`m not asking how to make a million$$$$ just one or more 100000 `s$$$$$ for our, my wife of 56 year and my time thats left comfortably.

Ok we have left it a bit late but I put that down to our involvement with the JW`s.

I think it is scheduled for Next Tuesday.

I hope not I`m looking forward to celebrating my birthday on Wednesday without any hassles of a Great Tribulation interferring with it.If you dont mind.

But then again knowing the success record of JW`s prophecys I know I`m on a good wicket that it will be another fail

I Give Up!

im giving up guys.

i've reached the end of my patience and now i finally refuse to waste any more time on part-time witnesses.

i've text all of my active jw family members and told them to delete my number from their phone and never contact me again.
