  A Letter to My Sons ... A Request for Help

  it has now been over two years since i was df'd.

  in that time i have had limited contact with my 17 year old son, the younger, and almost no contact with my 20 year old.

  the older boy was baptized 5 years ago and sadly the younger just recently took the plunge into the "pool-aid".

  You say your sons are 17 & 20 ? I`ll gaurantee they have no idea of the early history of Jw`s

  You most likely know that when the WT comments on their early history it`s always with "spin" eg:in russells day 1914 was the end of this system nowadays they say it was the beginning of the end

  I recomend Don Camerons "Captives of A Concept " then in your letters,postcards etc.just add a point of interest they may like to know of their early history,just a small titbit every now and then to plant a seed

  The age gap here is 24 years

  Matt.1:17 identifies a generation as being 48 years in length

  Using the above information couldnt we split the 48 yrs in two, that is to say 24 yrs b4 1892 =1868 Then 24 yrs after 2008 =2032

  Therefore in this illustration the one generation could be from 1868--to ---2032 ( overlapping gen.mind you ) 164 years
