  I remember when the Squibb building was purchased , I was " in " about ten years then .and then the sign WATCHTOWER going up in lights .

  It never dawned on me till many years later , why , WATCHTOWER ? in such a prominent visual position .

  Wouldn` t JEHOVAH ? have been more applicable ? seeing he is the one they claim to represent because of Christendom`s , so called exclusion of the name which is utter bullshit ?

  Their are thousands of references of Christendoms religions in texts , ancient writings and commentaries ,Bible Dictionaries , Commentaries . discussions of Old Testament , New Testament , thesis and so forth , both Jewish and Christian scholars that attest the name of God being recognised as Jehovah /Yahweh .going back Centuries .

  Rebutting the lie that Christendom was hiding that name from Christians , and more importantly , that J.W.`s were the only ones that used Gods name .

  What a load of rubbish that is still being said today.

  Isn`t that the church that originated in the Phillipines , that is very similar in many ways to JW`s with a far greater membership worldwide I might add . and not to be confused with the Church of Christ that originated in America.?

  Believing in God does not make you dumb , as can be shown by history .Many scientific , medical ,industrial , innovative , achievements have been made over the Centuries by men and women who have had belief in the Bible.

  Believing in charlatans , self delusional people who claim to be God`s only spokesperson for God ,false prophets ,cults , etc.

  ,Believing in these types , can certainly lead you down the path , whereby you become dumb by suspending reason and critical thinking and blindly accepting what they say as "truth"

  it occurred to me today, that so often, my mother will make the comment that .

  "those false religions teach that everyone is going to heaven when they die, oh sure, .

  all you have to do is be a good person, and off you go to heaven.

  Peter is showing new arrivals around heaven , and different faiths have different doors to them with a welcoming sign on them.

  All except Jehovah`s Witnesses , that says , Do not enter.

  The new arrivals ask why that sign is on the J.W.door

  my wife who is currently on maternity leave made a comment about luck she was to leave in canada because we get 52 weeks maternity at basically 40,000 per year.

  she is not originally from canada coming from a country with basically no maternity leave.

  i told her to make sure she doesn't say anything like that at kh.

  God apparently spoke to and visited people in the 1st Century according to the Bible.regarding his puposes and to give instructions for his and Jesus followers .As he has done 4000 years previously with different prophets and faithful men of old , and also some women.

  2000 years ago people never had the Scientific knowledge or education we have today , yet for 4000 years previously God had numerous occasions where he communicated with humans and apparently he had no issues back then in doing so , why he even had conversations with Satan the Devil in heaven on occasion as did Jesus Christ .Satan wasn`t shunned at any time,

  2000 years ago to the present day we havent seen or heard from our Lord God Jehovah or his glorious son Christ Jesus at all , What is the difference between the first 4000 years and the latter 2000 years , one where he was involved in their affairs to the latter where he is totally silent .not saying yay or nay about anything.

  If a human being witnesses a crime or an injustice against anybody/somebody and does nothing about it , how or what do we think about that person .?

  If God the Almighty /Jehovah , see`s crimes and injustices against his creation , humans and he does nothing about it , in over Centuries of time , how should we feel about him .?

  i am going to engage on a trip to the past and share with you some of the matters that marked the beginning of the jws persecution in cuba.

  you will be surprised that the pattern that was followed is very similar to what happened in other dictatorial countries.. in the cuban case, i am going to surprise you and tell you that like what happened with hitler; the wt was partially responsible for their clash and confrontation with the cuban government.

  during the early 60s the revolution was fighting for survival and they were willing and ready to demolish any perceived enemy to their cause.. a prime example was their war against the catholic church that was the most influential religious entity in the country; it took the supreme leader only a few public discourses to send the vast majority of clergy packing and back to their country, in this case spain.. the jehovah’s witnesses were an insignificant minority but they over estimated their importance and displayed a belligerent attitude, it was known that this was a us based religion and an easy target to connect them with the cia.

  So they were registered in Cuba as a Cultural Organization and not a religion , the same as was the case in Mexico ? That is interesting .Theocratic warfare practiced way back then , using deception , no we are not a religion , we are a cultural organization.

  Is that an outright lie to the Governments in question or was it a subterfuge hiding the truth from those who don`t deserve it .namely the Governments in question.

  We did see a similar deception against the Bulgarian Government didn`t we , regarding Disfellow - shipping for taking Blood , the WT/Jehovah`s Witnesses said , no we don`t Disfellowship anyone any more .What they did not tell the Bulgarians is they now consider ones who take blood as disassociating themselves from the religion of Jehovah`s Witnesses , and they are treated exactly the same as ones who have been disfellow-shipped .

  And the Bulgarians apparently bought it , giving them legal recognition in their Country .

  Is that deception honest ? even ethical ?
