Is it just me or is their no program about Jesus on this 3 day Convention.?
After all , he has been ruling invisibly in the Heavens since 1914 Hasn`t He ?
I would have expected by now , to have a 5-7 day Convention highlighting all the achievements /blessings to the Jehovah`s Witnesses they have received this past 102 years since his rule started .
Sadly all I seem to see is , new light , new light , new light /,adjustments , adjustments , adjustments, evidently this evidently that ,flip flops here ,flip flops there ,back flips.and not one of their expectations has ever materialized in over 137 years since C.T.Russell started this religion.
Without trying to be facetious , is the Holy Spirit on Drugs ?

What 21 year olds need to have a chapperone in this 21st Century.? Do you want to be controlled by other peoples standards for the rest of your life ? Or are you man enough to make your own decisions.

If they question what you have done in your relationship tell them to mind their own business , it is between you and your GF and nobody else.

The changing world - The Chinese in the west.
by fulltimestudent ini was hosing the garden at the front of our apartments earlier this morning, and this large gang (20-30 people) of elderly chinese went past, picking up rubbish in the street.
it suddenly clicked that this was 'clean-up australia' day.
what interested me was the involvement of this group of elderly chinese, and i assume that this is likely happening across sydney in all the many suburbs that have become 'chinese' in the last 35 years.

I think what you have stated about N.Z. and the Chinese buy ups , could equally apply to Australia.if not more so.
Who knows what the long term goal of China is for our region ?
China has also taken out a 99 year lease on the Port of Darwin , now America has asked to expand their B1 bomber presence in Darwin , a bomber with nuclear capabilities .The Chinese are flexing their muscle in the South China Sea , much to the consternation other nations.
It will be interesting to see how Japan ,the Phillapines ,Indonesia ,react to all this.

Hiding sexual abuse by their members , etc,Not reporting child sex abuse by their members from Elders over a 65 year period , with 1006 cases unreported by Elders to the relevant authorities , either police or Child protection Authorities.
Jehovah`s Witnesses have only approx .8 million baptized J.W.`s.worldwide.
The Roman Catholic religion has over 1 Billion baptized members.
The Roman Catholic Church has been around for approx,2 Centuries.
The Roman Catholic Church has a dismal record of child sexual abuse ,
However the Jehovah`s Witnesses have only been around for 115 years and their child sexual abuse cases far exceeds the Roman Catholics.
Jehovah`s Witnesses have about 8 million members , yet country after country around the world has multiple cases of child sex abuse by members of this religion. to name a few , the USA , the U.K. , Australia , to name just a few , their are many more that can be listed .
I would suggest that the J.W.`s are far worse than the R.C. Religion in this regard., however because they are such a minority group according to the media they are overlooked.
But they should not be .
