  I`m on Windows 10 and my mouse keeps dying , any suggestions ? what to do ?

  hi friends.. as the op states lately my mouse keeps dying on me while i`m in the middle of typing a post or whatever and so i lose all that i have laboured to type.. i keep resurrecting the mouse but now it`s dying more frequently .. any suggestions on how to get around this problem , or am i flogging a dead mouse ?.

  I thank all of you for your suggestions , however i`m a computer nerd and well into my 70`s which does not help.

  My mouse is a logitech plugged into my harddrive ? no batteries .

  When I have the problem I turn off the pc unplug it from the wall and unplug the mouse from the harddrive ?

  which has fixed the problem until next time it happens and I do it all over again.

  Maybe I`m a lost cause.

  Simon ," How would your mouse dying make you lose what you have typed ?" Easy , .no cursor , no control .

  I would love to know how to control my pc with just the keyboard but I am afraid it may be too complicated for me.

  An Atheist gives Credit To Religions

  even though i now consider myself an atheist and have little time for religion as such , i have to acknowledge that some religious institutions , and even some i would consider a cult more so than others , do a fantastic job in the field of charitable works.. for so many in our communities who are disadvantaged ,in one way or another , the down and outs , for a better phrase , those that have succumbed to alcoholism , drug dependency , mental illness in it`s many forms , homeless people , juveniles suffering abuse of one sort or another at home , domestic violence , etc.

  etc.

  the list just goes on and on .. yet their are religious charitable institutions who are at the forefront of helping these people offering and lending a hand both physically , emotionally , and even financially to support these people without judging them .. so even though i consider myself an atheist i can commend what these religious institutions do to for these people... i can`t say the same thing for jehovah`s witnesses who will take , take , take and give nothing in return.. smiddy.

  Xanthippie , yes the Salvos are well known for their practical love of neighbour .

  xjwsrock ,The more people in a position to expose the WT organization for what it is the better .

  talesin , Thank you for providing that info ,knowing their are far more religions that are actively engaged in doing something practical to help the needy and not just giving them a WT saying this will solve all your problems.

  menrov ,Thanks for your comment , however I don`t believe the WT does ANY charitable work at all full stop.

  I agree with Simon ,look at her past posts.,and in this realm of nobody really knowing who you really are well ???

  Just supposing for one moment she is genuine , do you honestly think anything anyone on this board is going to change her mind ?

  Persons who genuinely want to commit suicide do not advertise it beforehand .

  And if she does toss herself off after what everybody`s advice has been given , who are you going to blame ?

  In general , the people who are serious about going to kill themselves do not advertise it before hand so that people can intervene.

  If they write suicide notes it`s something that can be found after they have carried out the act and not before.

  i belong to their counterpart the ladies of the oriental shrine.

  I am an Australian , Shriners ? , I`ve never heard of them ,but from what I read here they put the religion of Jehovah`s Witnesses who call themselves a charity to shame ....shame ,on them .

  Rebel , I would be proud to be associated with an organization like that.Kudos to you.

  The reality is organizations like this need money to finance their operations and for so many truly charitable organizations to raise money for their cause takes a bit of ingenuity to compete .

  However the proof is in the pudding as to what they achieve for the community.

  edit to add : I just googled  Shriners and found their is a chapter here in Victoria since 2009
