How old would that young girl be who got dunked twice , obviously her feet came up out of the water the first time.
I had to put the mute on so as not to listen to that song.
not seen this before, or at least haven't registered it before.
maybe it's just a traditional style?.
i mean it's basically a glorified cattle trough?

maybe i`m getting old and senile , but i was thinking about something that used to nag at the back of my brain when i was "in" , wasn`t the messiah to be called immanuel ?
according to isa.7:14 and not jesus ?.
why was the name immanuel substituted with the name jesus .?.
prisoner finds love on the outside .
by amanda gearing.
a jehovah's witness minister who was convicted of killing his pregnant wife in 1997 has fallen in love while on prison work release and remarried in brisbane on saturday.
It never ceases to amaze me how some women are attracted to convicted criminals become ,convinced of their innocence ,start up a relationship somehow , and end up marrying their prey.
Think about it , the person in jail is not in a good position , emotionally .He/she is in a vulnerable state.
Whether he/she is innocent or guilty matters not
The incarcerated person will bond with the person who is sympathetic to his / her cause , and a communication dialogue will transpire which can lead to an eventual intimate relationship.
Their must be a study done sometime why this is so .
jesus is supposed to care for little children.
mark 10 is often quoted to illustrate his concern.. mark 10:13-16niv.
the little children and jesus13 people were bringing little children to jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them.
I wonder just how many physical assaults / sexual assaults against children by Jehovah`s Witness parents or guardians occur each year world wide , that come to the law enforcement / child protection authorities .
I would include denying a life saving blood transfusion to a minor in that catergory.
My guess it would be quite substantial .

Their is no Hebrew prophecy that says the Messiah is to be called Jesus is their ?
i salute you.. when i was in, i was a brainwashed idiot.
it instilled an arrogance and made me part of a community that contributed to your suffering.. i remember when i would see a jw parent drag their teens to the meeting.
some of these parents had converted recently, some had been some years.
A truly great post Londo111, it`s a pity it wont get the attention it deserves .
And I too like the idea of the t-shirt
i didn't make this video it just showed up in my utube web page, god i love utube.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyv5lg1uh0o.
Maybe in the near forseeable future we will witness the "Williams " sisters doing a video on the negatives of engaging in competitive sports ,that it is unscriptual to participate in such . Gal 5:26 , setting a poor example to the youth.
{ That is after they have made their millions of $$$$$$ }
We never heard the society of JW`s come out against Michael Jackson`s involvement in the music industry ? as being a poor role model for the young ones in the truth and stumbling them.
The same can be said for Prince and the music industry I never heard of him being counselled for stumbling the youth of JW`s setting a poor example.
Here in Australia , in Victoria especially , AFL , football is big , with big money involved in the game for successful players ,and all the perks that come come with it , even after your playing career may end.
Alec Rance a Richmond footballer , an unbaptised publisher ,made a big deal about leaving his club to concentrate on full time ministry as a practicing Jehovah`s witness , only to change his mind when a big $$$$ and contract offer was made to him to play on.{ make of that what you want }
He did not choose Jehovah`s Interests or Kingdom interests first , he chose money and fame along with it`s perks instead , is he a good role model for the youth of JW`s , to put Kingdom interests first in their lives ?
Is he still in good standing amongst JW`s ? of course he is , he is up their next to Jesus now especially among the youth.of the football world.of jehovah`s Witnesses.that a great many follow.
hi new to forum and first post!
i have been reading posts on and off for years.
still fighting my "doubts" and struggling internally, my family is active and the wife knows nothing of my late night website reads here.
Inabunker. Welcome , your not alone , it was a big step for most of us when we first posted on here , and believe me you wont ever regret it.
Their is a reference in one of the links posted here that refers to Kerry Louderbacks " The Tort of Misrepresentation on Blood Transfusions " by Jehovah`s Witnesses ( or similar heading) and shows the deceptions carried out by JW`s G.B. on the blood issue. Well worth a read.
my new girlfriend asked me over dinner last night what jw's believe.
as i sat there explaining it i realized how ridiculous it sounds and was slightly embarrassed that i used to believe this crap for 31 years.. try and read this and imagine hearing it for the first time.... me: well... jw believe that god's name is jehovah and that his son is jesus christ.
they believe that jesus died on a stake and not a cross and that in the year 1914 he personally chosen the jw's as his one true religion.
Having an organ transplant was cannaballistic .
the archaeologist digs and then sifts through remnants from the past, assembling the discoveries into patterns so that stories of the past may be brought back to life.. with almost 850 direct quotations from 50 books, my study sifts remnants from the first 200 years of christianity and sorts them into patterns that may help others to assemble a vessel that can hold ideas, or to form a skeleton where muscle and flesh, heart and mind, may be applied.
a comprehensive contents listing is provided at the rear of this study.. my study, “the jesus-followers’ first 200 years” is available at:.

It looks like I`m going to be busy for quite a while , thanks Doug , it looks like something I have been seeking without realizing it.
