It makes you wonder why Jehovah God and Jesus want and accept women in JC heavenly Kingdom as annointed ones from earth ,and the GB of Jehovahs Witnesses keep putting women down.
Would Jesus Christ and Jehovah God have to face a JW judicial committee for allowing women to have power and aurhority in their Kingdom for a thousand years ?

Even orthodox Jews allow for blood transfusions. That in itself speaks volumes

my old congregation's regional convention was the week before last, and for the first time in 20 years, i wasn't there.
instead on the very same weekend, i went to a geeky fan convention called magic city con.
i had loads of fun there, i cosplayed as a jedi and the doctor (which is my current profile pic).

i'm taking a university astronomy course, and i must say it's really fun to read about this field.
anyway, i remember the jws used to use jupiter (and probably still do) as an example for how unique and special our solar system is (and thus designed) -- namely, that jupiter protects the earth from astroids, comets, and meteors.
convincing if one doesn't know any better, especially circa 1994 when jupiter stepped in front of a comet for us... but this isn't the full story!

hello there.. as some of you might remember i am keeping my facade up by "studying" with an elder.
this study however is more of a session where i put hard questions about the org, doctrine and so on, on the table.
the time has come for the next session in a couple of days, and i have quite frankly lost the will to keep digging up things that just shouldn't be happening.
On another thread the poster , yizuman points out how many times the WT flip flopped as to whether the men of Sodom & Gomorrah would be resurrected.And he lists the publications to verify it.
I think that would be a good question to ask him along with when is the "truth" the real "truth" and how can the Holy Spirit give such conflicting opposing "truths" in a matter of a few decades.?
