Big, burly, loving, loyal, tattooed, single malt scotch sipping, beer drinking fly fisherman.
If you were 20 years older, you'd be my man.
i learned so much about you from the dream job topic.....just wanted to try again.

my bed is about 20 feet away from where the spider is, so I'm OK
Think about where it might be at 2am, 20 ft. isn't that far for a thing with eight legs.

OTWO...you did it in one sentence! But you couldn;t stop there. LOL. I love your posts.
waking up in the night because a big spider is crawling across your face is an experience not easily forgotten. Involves lots of screaming, stripping off of clothes and bedding. A real awakening so to speak.

Too kind hearted for my own good, unless I am backed into a corner

my wife said I'm an intelligent homer simpson
You must be the dream husband! Intellignet and Homer Simpson....doesn't get better than that. She's a lucky lady.
The only reason I kill spiders is because they crawl in bed with you. I have bugs in my house...lots of bugs. Any I can let live, I do, just because I get tired of killing them. Too many bug guts on the bottom of my shoes.
Burn, back off on the photos.....OMG, I'm gonna have nightmares. 5 inches wide?????
so, we aren't going to stay young and never die.
how do you feel about aging, especially those of you that are over 35?
aging poses some concerns for me, especially since i am 49 and pretty much single.
I don't mind getting older. Hitting 50 was an adjustment, but there is no looking back. Lessons learned are to hard, developes character, it is who you are. Kids, experiences, tolerance, all of it.
What is in front of me I am sure will be hard enough, but I've paid too much for the lessons learned so far. Hopefully, with the JW experience behind me, the rest will be the best years of my life.

dear friends,.
much of what we do on a daily basis is routine and of no particular, earth-shaking importance.
however, after reviewing letters of family going back to wwii, it is fascinating to read what dad was doing on board the aircraft carrier in the pacific on any old day, what mom was cooking on her ever-steaming range, how i was dealing with the roller coaster of emotion at bethel [mom saved all my letters], how nana wrote that she would not study with the witnesses [per my request] but 'here are some mittens i knitted for you when you canvass new york with your magazines.
My daughter came home yesterday at about 1pm. So, my life was saved, but my day was wrecked. I wore myself out here on JWD. I went to bed at 8pm, and didn't wake up until 7am. I guess I needed the sleep, but I'm wondering if I'll ever wake up, feel like I got hit by a bus.
Momz, glad you liked your therapist!!! I'm off to see mine now.
Good day to all!
