  Newbies & Lurkers - Let's Get to Know You - Please Tell Us Your Story

  at the suggestion of my sis named dinah ( thanks dinah ) we thought it would be good to invite newbies , lurkers , or any others junior members etc.

  to tell their stories of how they got out of the jehovah's witnesses or what you dealt with before getting out of which you had to overcome !

  life is hard- we all have our stories , but on this board are many caring people who will be here for you if you need a soft place to land after being controlled by the jehovah's witnesses mindset.

  Thanks Flipper for starting (and bumping) this thread.

  I have my JWD anniversary comming up in a couple of weeks. I watched others who started when I did post and post and post. Then I watched others who started after I did post in lightning speed. I feel I just broke out of the newbie ranks. Only meaning, I am getting to know who I am talking to, and what their life situation is. It is finally becomming personal.

  For some it takes days, for me it has taken a year.

  California JWs -- Are they different than most JWs?

  i've heard stories from people multiple times about their trips to california and how they were surprised to find out how lax the witlesses out there were concerning rules, behavior.

  Horrible Life....I must have idiot envy. I can relate to you more than most. I'll just put it in the bag with my other issues.
