  “Hanging the earth upon nothing”

  for those of you not up to speed on the latest jw trends, one of the key scriptures the jws are using in field serve-us lately is job 26:7, wherein the writer describes the earth as “hanging upon nothing”.. this text is used to indicate the bible’s “reliability”.

  the reasoning goes something like this:.

  “see, centuries ago, people thought the world was flat, or was resting on elephants or turtles, or some such nonsense.

  No wonder they want people to flunk science. Anyone with half a brain realizes that the earth is not hanging at all--and neither are the other planets (or the moon, for that matter). They are locked in orbit around the sun, itself in orbit in our galaxy around a point that is near 27 degrees of Sagittarius (the center of the galaxy). Hanging is not the correct word for this.

  Instead, they are held in place by the force of gravity. The earth is kept in check by the sun's gravity, while its momentum creates a force that holds it where it is (centrifugal force). When the two are in balance, the planet is in orbit and will remain that way until something disrupts it. (Such as joke-hova blowing up Phaeton and ruining Mars, which disrupted all the planets around it from Mercury to Jupiter.) There is no way that this is "hanging", let alone "on nothing".

  Sex and YHWH - 2 Samuel Ch 12.

  there's been a few commentaries on this topic of late, so i'm offering a few more thoughts.. here's an extract from 2 samuel 12, consider for a moment the implications.. 7 then nathan said to david, “you are the man!

  this is what the lord, the god of israel, says: ‘i anointed you king over israel, and i delivered you from the hand of saul.

  8 i gave your master’s house to you, and your master’s wives into your arms.

  All three of the major religions treat women as property. Judaism, christ-insanity, and islam are all guilty. I would just abandon all three of these filthy programs--all of which are curses on the whole human race intended to bring us into mass enslavement under Noahide Law. Hint: This panic we just had for the wimpiest "disease" on the planet is just a preview of what these three foul programs have in store for us all--ultimately, all of us are just property, and the women are even more so.

  Where's the boycott of these filthy religions?

  Another congregation closed

  15 years ago there were 5 congregations now there is only one and it is still struggling.

  congregations closing their doors doesn’t mean business is good.

  it looks like this last one to fold had no young witnesses, they either left the religion or moved.

  And what happens when it's not just high gas prices? I presume that gas will be in short supply once the midterms are stolen by the dumps--at which point, they pull the plug on draining the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (which was for supply disruptions, not just for high prices). At some point, they are not only going to raise gas prices right back up, but we will have a shortage.

  You want to waste all that gas traveling 80 or 90 kilometers each way to a simple boasting session? And what about field circus? That wastes enough gas as is. Are they going to have to get up at 5 AM to make these meetings, drive 90 km to get to the meeting place, have their meeting at 7 AM, then drive the 90 km back? What a waste.

  And, for those worried about carbon footprints and climate change, what does wasting all that gas do to their carbon footprints? And that of the whole religion? That is going to be fun when they start imposing our Biden Dollars, where you get cut off (and lower social credit scores) if you exceed your carbon limit. Which will be well below what you are getting if you waste all that gas going to and from boasting sessions all the time (which they are going to hound people into doing instead of going back to Zoom as a way to save driving time and gas).

  yes, that is an actual question in the awake magazine.

  jw kids lives are already miserable enough trying to obey all the ignorant rules of the wt.. no sports, no school dance, no holidays.... just field service.

  as if that isn't enough.... let's take away their puppy dogs too!.

  Are all dogs really that dangerous? I don't think so. Yes, there are dogs that will attack you for no good reason--if, that is, they are abused. And there are various needs that dogs have--that some people are not in any position to properly address. You need to make sure you can properly take care of whatever animal you choose to keep, but for the sake of humane treatment of your animal.

  And, are you sure it is demon attacks? Or is it really angels that are attacking so you will do more for their master joke-hova?

  God: The entity that is going to have us all enslaved under the most miserable conditions possible.

  Jesus: The archetype of the perfect slave. This is needed to provide us a template of what they want us to follow right into that end.

  Holy [sic] spirit: The force leading us into enslavement and preventing us from escaping this global fate.

  The end result is the loss of all freedom, happiness, and fulfillment on a global level, forever, and ultimately all souls being tortured by this thing they call god, following jesus as their role model with the holy [sic] spirit leading the whole earth under Noahide Law.

  Apocalypse Might be Here at Super Bowl

  i had tongue in cheek predicted the end would come should the buffalo bills ever make it to the super bowl.

  that was many years ago when they couldn't even make the playoffs.

  now things are looking grim as buffalo has a good shot of being there in february.

  And each time they did make the Superbowl, they kept just losing. And by worse and worse margins each time--they made 4 consecutive Superbowls only to lose each time. Seems the Bills are good at sabotaging themselves, nothing more.

  it is a very long time since i was an elder and the elders textbooks have changed multiple times since then.

  going back to when i was an elder, to the best of my knowledge the only way a spouse could divorce from his/her partner was porneia, if that person had sexual relations with a man, woman, child, or beast.

  but it had to be proven and that's the dubious 2 witness rule.. in fact, if it was not proven and the innocent party divorced and married someone else, then they could be hauled up in front of a judicial committee and be charged with committing adultery and disfellowshipped!

  Trying to get the whole world enslaved by stealing psychic energy from the whole community and giving it to this beady-eyed monster thing to enslave the world--your duty.

  Why can't they get their priorities straight? I would say that trying to enslave the whole world under communism is a bit more serious than spending the night with someone, even if "adultery" results (and especially if the spouse knows about it and is fine with it). Even a divorce without permission from the hounders would be better than working toward a communist world.

  Why stay on Zoom? Just don't go at all. And the same with MANDATORY field circus.

  Why risk spreading tuberculosis from door to door? This is especially dangerous if you are vaccinated against the wimpiest disease on the planet, and the householder is also vaccinated. No, you won't be spreading coronavirus. Just tuberculosis.

  "the bible never refers to a servant of god celebrating a birthday.

  this is not simply an oversight, for it does record two birthday celebrations by those not serving god.

  Why would they want to allow something that is a bit of fun? Let people miss out on all those birthday parties at school, in addition to all the holiday events and just about everything else that is fun. Celebrating a birthday would cost washtowel money, plus give the children whose birthday is being celebrated something better than field circus to do.

  I bet this is the start of a whole bunch of rules, which will vary in different congregations and be selectively enforced by one or another hounder. You are not in field circus? We will make sure you have no choice but to come out, and forcibly bring you into compliance (and any disassociation attempt will be thrown in the trash, at our discretion). Those useless masks will be required, not just at boasting sessions and field circus but everywhere in public.

  And vaccination. At their discretion, they will impose mandatory vaccinations on individuals, congregations, or circuits. Does one of the hounders or the hounder-hounder feel everyone needs to be vaccinated against this "disease" which is about as serious as a very mild case of poison ivy at its worst? Guess what--they will issue a directive in their congregation or circuit that anyone not vaccinated is guilty of "brazen conduct". As is any individual that someone feels should be vaccinated but is not--and it takes only one to be "stumbled" to get this imposed. And no, the Amazon "shot" does not qualify as "vaccination".

  And where does this stop? Field circus now (and yes, they will be pressured or forced, locally or regionally), Israel or Africa missions (some of which could take your whole life) next? And even if you don't "need" a coronavirus vaccine locally, you will "need" one to board a plane to Israel or Africa. And all it takes is someone to decide that, in lieu of disfellowshipping, they will simply hound you into forced compliance to all these rules (including 200 hours a month of field circus, vaccinations, Africa missions that take whole lifetimes, and "exemplary" rules).
