  Does anyone have any pictures?

  i've been searching all over for pictures of governing body members engaged in "unscriptural conduct" and i still haven't found any.

  i thought that in this day and age with cell phone cameras and spy equipment, at least one person would have something grimey.

  i want to see what really goes on after hours in the borg.

  When Elders go too Far...

  this is just something that really peed me off regarding the elders, is how low they are sinking to get gossip and stuff now, i was in contact with a well trusted friend of mine who used to attend meetings up until 2 years ago, his wife is still in the jw org, he was having a joke around on some text messages with me regarding my man saying "try before you buy" and so on, which i found amusing....lets just say his wife didnt...she snooped on his phone, wrote out the texts he had sent me and gave the transcript to the elders, and now he has to go before a judicial commitee.

  how wrong is that, for a start its an invasion of privacy!

  i was fuming yesterday when i found out.

  One other misnomer; Elders do not go around asking people to spy on publishers. We do not interrogate publishers or "check up" on them to gather intel. Geez! Some of you guys think we're like the CIA or something. Nothing could be further from the truth. Elders are generally the last ones to find out about a publisher and wrongdoing. By the time it reaches us, half of the congregation knows about it (Matt. 18). Recently a teenager was dating a non-witness kid from school for about 8 months and she ended up pregnant. We didn't find out until she was showing (3 months). We took the normal steps. Judicial committee, anouncement, local needs part. (She was not dissed.) But, again, so many people knew about it. Especially the other teens in the Cong. I mean, come on people. Some of you know what it was like growing up in the Org. How much stuff did teens get away with without adults or even Elders finding out about it. This stuff about spies working at Wal-Mart? Laughable! Non-witness work mates as sources? Insane! As Elders, we'd much rather not have to deal with this crap. Why would we seek it out? Afterall, if Jehovah's going to reveal it in His own due time, why not wait and spend that time playing golf, fishing, or on the boat drinking beer?

  Even if the guy is gay, they obviously have issues. Imagine being in her shoes. She has four kids with this guy and he prefers dingleberries. I would think most women that aren't into gay or bi-sexual men would feel a little insecure. Couple that with him talking about sex with another woman. She's probably sexually frustrated and her advances rejected many times. And the emotional closeness he displays with you is something she craves. Let me guess; she's a heavy drinker? He sounds like a real keeper. Personally, IMHO, she should dump him and make his ass pay child support. She can do 'bad' all by herself.

  As a current Elder, several years ago (approx. 5 ) the files used to be in a cabinet but not locked by most congregations. COs never mentioned anything about them being locked. I would look at files of other congregations on a casual Saturday afternoon. Sitting in the library "doing research" or studying "publisher record cards" was a perfect setting for the "wandering eye". And then, a letter came from the Org. followed by the CO demanding that all file cabinets have a lock on them. I believe this was right around the time of the child abuse news break.

  Men are the worst housekeepers, and the Cong files are rarely cleaned out. I recall seeing bank statements from the 70's! Imagine what files are still in these cabinets!

  Usually, every elder has a key to the cong. files. Account records, judicial hearings, letters from the GB and Branch, Letters of Introduction, ect. They're all there. Nothing is kept by any one elder. All congregational items are in the congregational file.

  Why not get together a secret mission to steal the files? Every kingdom hall could be hit on the same week!

  Here's the plan. You get dressed up like a brother or sister and just say you're thinking about coming back. Suspicions about you are immediately dropped. You might even get re-instated that day! You case out the place during a Thursday night meeting. Then you plan your coup for one of the next three days.

  Saturday would be the ideal time. Usually there's more than one congregation meeting for service and you'll get lost in the mass of people. If someone questions you (perhaps someone you saw thursday night) just tell them you're attending the bookstudy. If there isn't one, feign stupidity and tell them you'll see them tomorrow and go to your backup plan or abort the mission.

  If you're not accosted, find a side door that you can prop open. Tape on the latch or a stick would do the trick. Be obvious when leaving. Now, you can return Saturday night after midnight. Take a large duffle bag, a flashlight, bolt cutters, and at least 12 small lock. Now, when you break the locks, remove all of the contents in the cabinets, and re-lock it with a good lock. That way, when the next brother walks by the cabinets they'll be locked as usual. Nothing suspicious. Some KH may have up to 4 congregations, so you'll need two bags or a partner to help you.

  Here's the important part; do not take the files back to your place. Put them at a storage locker in the mall, keep them at a friends house, or rent a small storage facility. This is a major coup de tat! KH's around the world will be up in arms. Do not touch the files until the heat dies down (approx. 6 months).

  Afterwards, you can do what you wish with the documents. Publish them on the net, send copies to the local police, extort the Org., ect.

  This would shake the Org. to it's foundation! Come on people! I've given you the blueprint! Who's in! Stop waiting for someone else and get pro-active!

  The Org. is too slow to get word out to every KH PO. Besides, by the time the brothers at the hall

  So let me get this straight. His wife is pregnant and you're talking to her husband about sex? Are you friends with her also or does she disapprove of your relationship with her husband? Frankly, i'm surprised at some of the responses. What self-respecting husband AND father of FOUR would be that insensitive to talk "jokingly" about sex with another woman when his wife is pregnant? What is he 15? Personally, this guy is nothing more than a coward. If talking to other women about sex is what he wants to do, why doesn't he disassociate himself and divorce his wife? Yet, most of you would rather blame her? Puh-lease!

  Actually there's plenty of JWs taking college classes lately. Several years ago there was a WT article that covered pursuing a higher education. Nothing wrong with it. The entire thought was carefully considering what the persons motive was. Surely, you guys know there's plenty of Nurses, Architects, Attorneys, ect. in the Org.
