just recently had one elder come around to see what what happening.

don't you hate it how they think they can just come around without calling first.

I mention 607 and how secular works dont support this. He says " What does it matter if 1914 is wrong" I don't say anything cos I am lost for words thinking to myself what the heck 1914 is the basis for major doctrine!!!

I mention again about the sexual abuse settlement cases etc ( I have raised this previously with him quite a few months back), and he responds saying it happens in all the religions and

mentioned about catholics covering it up. I said yeah but the catholics admitted to it. I said hang on we were handing out "End of False Religion is Near" tracts and basically having a go at

other religions for covering this up and yet this is happening within the society. I said "isn't this hypocrytical"??? He said "no".........I'm like gee I am getting no where.

I also mention that as an organisation there is never any works to help the poor in the community - you know his response about when natural dissasters strike dubs help each other blah

blah blah and how preaching the good news is saving and changing lives.

Before he leaves he says here is your mags that have been accumulating and the book released at the DC.

LOL what an experience. I mean surely if you want to leave, you shouldn't have to answer to them.

My District Convention pioneer experiences- I fed my kids from the gutter?

i wen't to the district convention 2 years ago, the talk was on "sacrifices," a pioneer couple were interviewed by the c.o.

they had pioneered for many years with two kids, the dad worked part time.

they explianed how money was "tight" for them many times.

Yeah the pioneer poverty stories at DC's used piss me off too. The borg doesn't and never will look after the poorer dubs.

Where were you when the planes hit?

it f*cks me off that this happened only a few years ago but no one in my office has yet to even mention it.

it was such a pivotal event:.

i was driving from fontana to chino in california dressed in service clothes.

I remember being in my final year of high school. I was studying for exams as had an exam block the next week. It was in the evening here and I was in complete shock. Don't know how we all got thru exams but we did. It is something that will never leave your mind.
