i have been away from the board for about a week: my mom went in the hospital for chest pains, had a "stint" put in one of the blood vessels in her heart, almost died, recovered to the point she could be sent home, and is home now.

my mom is 80, a bit "alternative" as far as medicine goes, stubborn as a mule, and one of the most caring people you would ever want to meet.

so, caring for her is a bit of a challange at times.

Serve god in the way you know how, read other bibles, have a happy family life, and enjoy your daughter.

We also must remember that
no human on earth, not matter how qualified, has the right or ability to forgive or
withhold forgiveness for a mistake we made against god or our fellow man.
Surrounding ourselves with, and openly admitting our shortcomings to the right kind of
friends surely helps, but in the end we all stand alone before our maker, and what we
did or did not say out loud in a little room in the back of the congregation will not
be the basis of our worth as a human soul.

i am due my baby in 2 days time (friday 9th nov).. i have no idea what its going to be, and i dont have any inklings, so the field is wide open.

heres some detail to help you, and remember no babies will be hurt in the making of these bets!

Shower or bath?

i prefere showers with water hot as i can stand and i don't mean in scrub up, rinse, out....linger uneder the water is so relaxing...what about you..?.

I was raised in it.

Was a witness for 27 years.

I am not disfellowshipped or dissasociated.

Just stopped going. Something felt very wrong.

I have learned that the things I used to believe were not true....

You will gradually see that this religion does not have the truth. Does not have the love that Jesus talked about.

The people are only interested in appearances and the organization is run by men, not God.

I have never read an account of such absolute animosity and prejudice from a body of elders towards non-sinning loyal members of the cong like yourselves, but your story of how you are treated is all too common.

Keep reading here and you will see that there are many many who have been treated with disdain and contempt.

Many are broken hearted and abandoned by their elders and their families. Treated like common criminals.

That has to tell you something!
