i recieved a phone call from her yesterday inviting us for diner at a restaurant.
the first thing she said to me was "you didn't go to the meeting today didn't you?
I always feel a little weird responding to this kind of post. Nine months ago Shannon said the same thing about me. Ask her how shocked she is that her mom woke up.
Your mom loves you. She wants to see you in the paradise. She thinks that you are literally throwing your life away. Guilt is the only thing she has left. It's a known weapon by mothers the world over when they can no longer pull you by the ear to the hall.
She can't help herself. You are her child.
i've been thinking about organizing a jwd book club.
would anyone be interested?
everyone could throw out suggestions of books and i could pick one at random for each read.. i was thinking a book every 2 weeks, but i know a lot of people have kids and obligations so maybe every month would be better?

The Columbus Arts Festival is held every year the first week-end in June. It's a juried show and people come from all over the country. My budget at the time always determines how much I spend that particular year. Right now, I'd spend next to nothing, slow winter and I'm straight commission. :-(

Ohhhhh........thank you! I love glass more than anything, I've got some old carnival glass that got me started as a child. We have an arts festival here in Columbus every year and I always buy paperweights, candle holders or vases. My daughter has a friend that is supposed to teach me to blow glass in the spring and I can't wait.
