  Any Good 1975 Stories?

  despite denial by the wts of any 1975 armageddon predictions zealous jw's did believe it, openly talked about it, and some even sold houses & belongings in anticipation of it.

  do you have or know of any good 1975 stories?.

  here's mine.........i was a freshman in college and had quit attending the kh back in hs.

  Unfortunately it sounds like you were on a bad acid trip. But then again weren't we all?

  I began my study when I was 21, in 1979. By this time you only heard the , unexplained 1975 comment. A few times I heard about the great Bethel apostasy in passing. When I questioned the meaning of these random comments it was immediately pooh-poohed. I never experienced it first hand. I always had a sick feeling in my gut though, like "Hello McFly, is anybody home?" I wish I could have snapped out of it and woken the hell up.

  Praise be to my god, THE MIGHTY INTERNET, may it save us all.

  well i guess the thing to do here is to kinda tell your story so that is what i'm going to attempt to here.

  even though it makes me a bit nervous.. my experience with the jehovah's witnesses was short compared to lots of people here.

  i was only involved for about 3 yrs.

  Foxnews Today- "Two Street Preachers shot to death in Florida."

  a 23 year old and 24 year old man were shot in the head after "preaching" to another man who recieved a phone call then returned to execute both men...".

  sounds like witnesses to me.....anyone else have more info?.

  I am so proud of you for posting that. Amazing...

  This is a good place to be yourself and it will help you sort out who that is exactly. I'm still learning, we all are. A lot of us have been robotic parrots in one way or another. We try to stay respectful here even if we don't agree on a hot topic. Some of us drop in occasionally, some of us are here every day. Sometimes we give and sometimes we take, whether it's emotional support or information. There are posters here that I have met IRL and will probably be friends with for the rest of our lives.
